These talks of inferior equipment really tick me off, lets take a look at some stats for thos who believe Nike golf is inferior

David Duval, number one player in the world, multiole wins with Nike equipment. One of the Nike originals,

Tiger Woods, enough said

Rory McIlroy, multiple wins world wide, majors, order of merrit winner and tour money winner, number one player in the world all while using nike equipment,

So lets go to the less notables

Paul Casey, has been moving up the OWR since switching, as well as top 5 at the masters,

Charl Schwartzle 3 world wide wins already this year using nike

Tony Finau second year on tour firat with nike has his first PGA tour win,

Jamie Lovemark and Kevin Chappell both using nike have been close to having multiple wins yhis year,

You have Molinari who has won and played well world wide with nike,

Its not an equipment issue with nike, read up on them, they are not going to go out and pay a ton of tour guys to play their equipment just to play it.

You also have to remember regardless of the equioment manufacturer the club cannot make contact with yhe ball without someone swinging it.

Really good post...but just so you know...most of us use the "inferior equipment" thing as a joke. Or at least massive sarcasm.

^^^^ thanks bro, it was tedious. Had to use a toothpick on the Vr logo it's so small. Really want to paint the swoosh, but like I said, am stuck. Really wish is was flat and indented instead of petruding and many sided. Oh well, appreciate the compliment and think it looks better than the red and black.

paying someone to hit your clubs doesn't make them good....plus the pros clubs are not the exact same model as the retail version......

Yes they are the same with the exception of the lower lofted vapor fly. Adding hot melt for weight and sound/feel doesn't make it different than retail.

when the shaft tips are different in the woods, it makes em different....ping does this as well as does TM...its nothing new. With nike they create clubs based on input from the tour pros, much like titleist does, but the offerings to the public may come from Thialand instead of japan where quality control is not as great...or the forgings are made from different tooling they use for the pros.....

Is he talking about comparing driver flex loft and vapor fly fairway woods?

The 2016 (vapor fly woods) have different tips from the covert and vapor line. Only the driver tips have remained the same, just the newer ones are slight slimmer.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
