Anyone else notice that the vapor fly pro 2 iron has vanished from Nike.com? I ordered mine from budgetgolf, so I'm not sure if they had a stock of them or back ordered from Nike.

 

Anyone hit the VFP 2 iron before? How forgiving is it? I'm debating between a Taylormade UDI driving iron and this.

 

It's so awesome. Once I spent enough range time with it, I now have it to a very reliable 240 bullet down the middle every time. It's so easy to flight.

Definitely is. It's still tough to elevate (for me at least) off the deck, but it stripes the ball off the tee. I'm starting to use it on anything under 375 that's relatively tight because I have so much confidence with it, and I'm a decent driver of the ball. It's a fantastic club.

I have the Proforce V2 now but testing the Diamana Blue Board & Limited. Also the Matrix Black Tie. Going to try and hit them outside today. Fitter loaned me to try so I can make decision.

Probably the same set but with PX LZ, or maybe the cobra Fly Z+ forged?

The fly should be higher with more spin. Of course it will depend on shaft and your swing.

First hits with the Black VFP driver today. Jumped right into 18 holes. It took a while but I was gettin it down towards the end. Hit some of the longest dang drives I've seen when struck on the screws. The ball speed is phenomenal compared to my old G30 LST. Quite impressed overall. Have a baby fade at the moment. I still think I need to put an X flex blue board in there to straighten it out but afraid I'll lose the ability to get the launch angle I'm seeking.

I'm glad to see the drivers working for some. I have never had much luck with them. Numbers are always better with the ping drivers. Not that I haven't tried Nike drivers,I have,just not with good results.
