Question about m1... I've heard a few people say that it's setup is very open, I've noticed this too. So the question is has anyone had success through fitting of getting the face closed consistently after initially struggling?
I played the SLDR all the way open and never had a right issue unless a bad swing. For me the M1 had a right bias. When I closed the face a couple of clicks (SLDR adapter) and moved the weight half way to draw...viola! Doesn't appear closed which is good because I hate left as well as closed club faces. Pleasantly surprised.

I've been told by a few folks that i like to play with my club face slightly open so when the taylormade guy set the club to 6.5, it didn't bother me one bit

Just going to note once again that the M1 has a flat lie compared to typical TM drivers.

In my experience the SLDRs definitely had more right to left tendency than the M1. Try the M1 in a more upright setting if you're missing it right.

Those of you who find the Fuji Pro 60 or 70 to be the best fit, can save a bunch of money by buying the M1 with another one of the not "made for" shafts ( which the Pro 60 and 70 are without doubt), sell the stock shaft and pick up the Fuji Pro off eBay for $50-$99.

It's been mentioned that the Pro60 and 70 are on Fuji's site, but were only put there about a week before the release.

So tired of the "made for" topic
10 years ago there was a significant difference... nowadays "made for shafts" are much higher quality and the only difference between them and the aftermarket shaft is that the made for shaft seems to be designed to fit a wider spectrum of golfers. Each aftermarket shaft is built with one type of golfer in mind. Anyone who complains that the "made for shaft" has a 3.3 deg torque rating and the Aftermarket has a 3.1 deg is completely insane IMHO. Look at it this way... if you like the stock shaft on your driver however you want to fine tune your launch conditions, you would look for an aftermarket shaft... they are not any better... they are just different.

Sorry, but it's not about the "made for" issue, but about economics on a pretty high $ driver. If. Your best fit is the high launch, high(er) spin Fuji Pro 60/70, it makes sense to choose another of the stock shafts, then sell the shaft and buy the Fuji Pro 60/70 off eBay for $50-$80.

Suddenly the M1 is then a $399 driver or even less.

Translation: Do not order the shaft that was the best fit, order one you can possibly sell. Pick up the real Fuji, which is different but better for you. Completely logical.

Good idea to make it more affordable but according to your math you're going to need to sell the ordered shaft for $150-$200 which isn't happening on eBay atm.

There is only one setting for upright on the M1 or is there and in between like the loft settings ?

can somebody give me an idea on how the Rogue black will compare to the matrix black tie . thinking the rogue black will launch higher with a little more spin ?
I have played both shafts and wouldn't find them comparable at all. For me the Black Tie 7x3 launched a little higher and produced more spin. The Rogue Black launched super low and spin like a RA Dickey knuckle ball. The Black Tie is a "stout" feel that still produces good action. The Rogue Black to me had no feel at all.

He doesn't know what he's talking about. The one guy suggested to buy the M1 with a Rogue or different more easily sellable shaft and then buy the Fuji Pro on eBay. Home boy here doesnt understand what he is suggesting

After 2 wks of waiting i finally recieved my m1 yesterday. I was so excited then .... I realized they sent me 9.5 430 instead of 460 i ordered.
Same thing happened to my member. After looking back at the order form we had in fact ordered the 430 head by accident.

Was at golftown on friday wasting some time hitting drivers. Love the driver I have now, but like everyone else here there is always that itch. Was hitting the G30 and Xr pro and not seeing major improvements in ball flight. The manager gave me the M1 and I laughed as I am not a huge Tmag fan. Just never have been drawn to the brand. After a few swings (solid strikes and A couple mis-hits) I will say I was very impressed. Overall feel was excellent and forgivness was what I was looking for. Not about to spend $600 on a driver but In my opinion they hit there mark on this driver over previous models.

Give it up to dicks in washington pa . Took my 430 taylormade sent me on accident and asked if theyd switch it out for the 460. He said no problem and even put a new grip on it for me within 5 minutes. They didnt have the shaft i preferred so i asked if i could just switch heads. He said it would mess up inventory but if i really wanted to i could. He already went above and beyond so i said id just try the rogue insted of the kuro kage. Honestly expected to have to ship to tmade to fix problem
