Grips On Tour

Curious what grips pros were playing on tour and sizing... Mainly curious if anyone was using newer grips like UTX CP2 etc..

The vast majority play Golf Pride, to be more specific the tour velvet, at least what I have experienced and seen from caddying, you willl see many others, but the majority are tour velvet...

Just out of curiosity, do you know who specifically plays Pure? I just had a couple of Pure Pros installed on my driver and SW, and really like them. Considering having the entire set re-gripped.

Find it surprising not to see more pros using more modern grips rather than staying so traditional with them. Also the lack of softer compound grips is surprising given the amount they practice and how much easier they are on the hand... Not even Winn but cp2 pro and vdr type

Hard to tell from TV for the players, but I LOVE the UTx - bought dozens of them on sale a few weeks ago. Work great with or without gloves.

Love the feel of them but a friend of mine had one and it only lasted about 2 weeks before thumb print started to wear in... How did yours last??

Ouch! Not good to hear. I've only used them twice, maybe 4-6 more times before it gets way too cold. Nothing wrong so far.
How many rounds did he get in? Was it all the clubs or one he uses constantly?

Light practice and maybe 3 rounds. He would be far from the easiest person on a grip tho. Very powerful with a pretty firm grip pressure. Was lower hand thumb mark just starting to show

tried the cp2 pro.....very comfy for an afternoon stroll but less control because of same reason....too much 1977 Cadillac and not enough BMW....
