If you were on tour- sponsorship...

Question- if you made the PGA tour, who would you want to sponsor you and how much would $$$ factor into the equation for you?

 

Would you just use whoever would pay the most or would you take a minimal amount of pay to use a Mizuno or Titleist; or nothing to use a Miura...

 

I would assume most here will say Mizuno and Titleist, but who's stuff would you most want to use?

Taylormade if I had to choose a whole bag, with ball, and with clothing. As long as Adidas owns them, it's the most complete sponsorship with great products across the board. Titlest would be acceptable but their drivers are lacking in my opinion. Honestly, PING would probably be 2nd on my list. And as much as it pains me, Nike would be my 3rd choice. Driver is always mandatory so the company has to have a driver I like.

Being that I love my Bstones, I would stick with Bridgestone. Love the 330s, J15df's and wedges. Clothing will always come around.

All mizuno bag. I would request they make an MP driver and woods again. The jpx stuff just launches too high. The classic MP drivers were great. 650, 630 etc.

Everyone today is making GREAT golf clubs. There aren't any slackers in the golf market - and if they are they're on their way out. Not only that but everyone is also making very similar lines. You could easily find clubs you could game with any OEM these days.

I'd like to say money wouldn't factor too much, but that's easy to say sitting here not getting paid. But I'd want apparel deal with UA and club deal with Mizuno or Cobra, I pay for their stuff now, so they could pay me to keep playing what I like.

I would most likely play whoever pays the most, but I play all Titleist clubs and wear all Nike, so I'm sure I could get used to Nike clubs for the money.

Cobra/Puma, Titleist, Mizuno or Cally. But I suppose if Nike or TM's offers were far and above the others then I'd go with them. Maybe even PXG as a new brand

I'd play with whatever got me there (currently titleist irons/wedges and ping woods). Then after a few years of cashing in enough cheques and being able to command more sponsorship money I would go to who ever offered me the most amount of money.

I'd like a combo type deal. Peter Millar clothing, Titleist/FootJoy shoe, glove, ball deal and then give me a club/bag deal with Callaway. This is similiar to Henrik Stenson's setup. Throw in a sponsorship from Audi & NetJets showcased on the hat, bag, and sleeve. Add in a watch deal (Rolex, Tag, Omega) and boom we're good to go.

 

Peter Millar covers all of my clothing needs on and off the golf course. Audi gives me a free lease & NetJets cover's my travel expenses.

TMAG. Love their stuff and they allow for freedom as well. Also Maserati just because.

Cleveland Srixon for clubs , wedges are premium , older Cleveland drivers are long as hell. Srixons irons are amazing, would have to throw a different hybrid in there.

Bettinardi for putter would be ideal.

And adidas for clothes , assuming they do that without a Taylormade sponsorship !!

Titleist, all day every day. They have the best and classiest looking sticks on the market IMO. They have the best shoes with Footjoy and I absolutely love the FJ clothing.

 

And oh yea........... Unlimited Circle T's!!!!! :)
