If you were on tour- sponsorship...

Any contract that allows you the most freedom in your bag spots. I always thought Mizuno and Taylormade had the best, minimal contracts out there in the bag, hat, ---- deal. With Mizuno, you pretty much get to play whatever you would like as long as Mizuno irons are in the bag. The same with Taylormade, as long as you have the driver and fairway wood you can get away with anything else. These two also leave you room for the clothing and ball that you prefer (a ton of TaylorMade guys don't wear Adidas).

Show me the money. If I'm assuming that I'm in the same financial boat that I'm in right now, I would take whoever gave me the most money.

However, if I am assuming that I'm making a decent amount of money to support my family than I would stick with the brands/styles I like. See, if I'm getting courted by multiple companies... I must be a pretty good stick right? So then I should be doing well in tournaments.... so then I should be making decent money already. If all of that is the case, I would play Titleist clubs/balls and UA apparel. A nice sponsorship from Netjets might be nice too ;)

Ping clubs/bag and then UA or Oakley probably would be my choice. My biggest issue is there wouldn't be a stock Ping putter I'm crazy about, but good thing being on staff you'd be able to get a custom job that probably could work (I'm thinking a CB Craz-e center shaft could work....)

I would take whoever is paying the most

Everyone today is making GREAT golf clubs. There aren't any slackers in the golf market - and if they are they're on their way out. Not only that but everyone is also making very similar lines. You could easily find clubs you could game with any OEM these days.

This is how I would go. I would even say that one can buy a club or set of clubs that are a bad fit, but the clubs are good. Titleist MB's are a bad fit for me, but they are really good clubs.

Right now I'd say Cobra because that's what I mainly play. But I've always like Mizuno forgings and TM woods so who really knows? I guess if I was that good I could use any OEM and just take the big money to secure my family first, then focus on the PGA career. lol

As long as they get Scotty or Robert to trick me out my Anser style putter (009 or BB1/0) I'm all in! Maybe even an 006 from David @ Nike!

Mizzy!

I'd like to stroll through the Mizuno tour van on Tuesday while all the club fitters fawn all over me offering me anything and everything they have.

I would crack jokes no one really thinks are funny but everyone would sort of have to commit to a sympathy laugh. I would talk about my beach house with the guy re-gripping my irons and say, "Cheerio" upon my exit while everyone rolls their eyes behind my back on my way out.

If I'm a Tiger/Rory upper echelon guy, then I'd want to be with Nike basically for their marketing prowess. Their marketing makes all their athletes appear bigger than life.

If I'm a middle of the tour guy then I'd want to be with a company that either pays me the most and woos me the most and really wants me.

As a lot of people have said so far, everybody is making great equipment these days and it's really not hard to get things customized to exactly what you want when you have the tour van/tour only staff working for you. For this reason and I would go with the company that is going to pay me the most while not dictate every aspect of my tour life.

If all was equal as far as pay/everything else, I would play an all Titleist bag. Always liked the clubs in basically every department and it's what I have been playing for a bunch of years.

I'd go Travis Mathew apparel and Wilson Staff. Gotta have an Odyssey putter though. I'm a Staff guy now, so I would stick with the team that got me there.

Wilson Fg Tour M3- Black Ops Black Mamba
Adams Tight Lies 3-16
Adams Tight Lies 5-19(Fuji Speeder 7.2)
Wilson FG Tour V4 Utility - 3
Wilson FG Tour M3 4-GW (Dynamic Gold XP)
Vokey SM 09 56
Odyssey Versa 1W WBW 34"

Whoever gives me the most money.

+1. Most contracts allow for a few clubs from other OEMs so take the money. All the manufacturers make good equipment and once you go through their fittings and adjust to it you'll play fine. Take the money.

On a side note if I were say Rory on his post-Nike contract I might look around to see which equipment I like the most but then again he'll get paid either way. If I were a Specer Levin I would just take the money.

Clubs...Titleist

Ball....Titleist

Clothing....RLX

Shoes........FJ

Watch.....Rolex

Car........Audi

I mean I'll never get on Tour so I might as well shoot for the stars here right?

Shoot higher than Rolex and Audi then. Come on! I suppose it's better than Armitron and Kia but let's see some creativity.

Tough question since I don't hold any strong brand allegiance, right now I really like what Cobra are doing with their stuff and I like Puma clothes so maybe them (I'm even starting to like the high tops).

It's hard to go wrong with a Titleist/Footjoy combination as well

Somebody would HAVE to pay me a FORTUNE to wear those high-tops in public! But I like the Cobra line up as well.

I would take whoever would pay the most. But if I thought that I could make more on Tour and take less from the sponsor by playing the clubs that suit me best, I'd go that direction. I think that is really rare for a Tour player to go in this direction. Woodland and who else is doing this?
