If you could ask Scotty Cameron a question about himself or his putters, what would it be?

With everyone saying there is a difference between his tour offerings and his retail putters (me included), what does he think about this and does he feel there is a difference?

I like the look and feel of Scotty's stuff, but I can't work it without dumping a ton of lead in the shaft to bring the total weight up to something respectable.

 

My other question would be: "Can I get a Scotty Winn grip that won't require a second mortgage on the house?"

Why on earth does SC still keep making gimmicky looking putters and not offer the simple, clean lined 009 to the masses in a nice dark oil canned finish for say around $500 (like the Byron DH89)?

I would ask why someone would bump a thread about him that's over 4 years old? If someone has to go that far out of his way to bash him then he must be doing something right.

What difference does it make when a thread was originally started if it is still a good topic? It is proper when posting to use an existing thread if that thread is related to or the same as what you want to discuss. If the forum operators did not want any old threads to be opened again they would have set them to automatically lock after a specified period of inactivity.

 

As usual it is the Cameron fans that try and turn a legit thread into a bashing thread.

I agree with foregasim in that it is some of the Cameron fans that turn Cameron fans into threads filled with disdain. Foregasim posts information based on his knowledge of Cameron putters and the Cameron culture, which is more than I will probably ever know (and I have come to know some things). People, the Cameron fans, rip him because they do not like what they are reading even though he knows a lot more than most of the people ripping him. Either stop reading if opinion like foregasim's is not to your liking and return to the Cameron fan site that does not tolerate a critical point of view or offer the opposing view with facts to support the other side. All I know is that people say he is a Cameron hater and that is the best they can offer. Well, that argument will not even win a Junior High (Middle School) debate.

 

 

My question would be the same as Stage1350's:

 

Why do you not offer an non-insert, non-adjustable weight putter, in the style of the 009 or Circa #2 without cavity with more rounded heel/toe in weight increments of 340g, 350g and 360g for those who want an option for a heavier putter without adding weights?
