Guess that pretty much confirms the resale market will be plummeting very, very fast. Cheapest VF Pro on eBay is still listed at $300. I'd suggest anyone who bought these to try to flip better do it the second they get them in hand, even that might be too late. I'm personally pretty stoked to get them and put them in play though, it's always fun tinkering with new gear and at his price point (I paid like $130 and $90 for used Cobra Driver and FW earlier this year) I will have zero complaints. Even if they are a total loss I'll easily be able to dump them for $100 bucks somewhere.

 

Kind of bummed I missed this, I was wanting to get the VFP but all these sites seem to only have the regular version in stock. Does anyone know if these prices are heading to retail stores (GolfGalaxy, Golfsmith, Dicks) this weekend?

Hey, we normally (I use that word loosely) wait until they prices get low to tinker right? So you get a brand new one to tinker with for less than $150!

I'd imagine their prices will be dropping this weekend as well, if what the other poster was saying about a permanent clearing coming up is true. I'll be really curious to see if NDC has a drastic price drop too, they've still got the Flex 440 listed for 500 bucks on their site!

Really hope this is accurate. Couldn't pull the trigger on a stiff flex when I really needed an X. Local Golfsmith has an X in stock. I'll be picking one up this weekend if the price drops happen.

I was on the phone for 20 minutes with GS and the guy was really trying to price match but said that I should just buy it off the website because they are calling that price of "89.99" for the hybrid a misprice.

I stated to him that they have it in stores as well and he said they couldn't match it so I guess I'll wait and see until tomorrow

He said that Nike has officially changed MAP which dictates the lowest price any retailer can sell new product at and that is is up to retailers on when or if they drop prices. I know PGA Superstores are dropping prices tomorrow so I'm sure everyone will follow suit or get left behind

Wish I didn't have to pay $11 tax in Kansas, but figure the $20 off code/free shipping/ebates reward offset it and then some. Maybe find a retailer somewhere a few bucks cheaper...but don't want to take the time to do it.

I already ordered the flex 440 from WWG, so ordered a 3w and 3H with Blueboards this morning. $169 shipped, 9% cah back from ebates and $50 in free gift cards. The gift cards did not ring up free this morning like they state, but will just call in and get refunded on the $50.

 

I guess my kid will get new Nike stuff, sell the Adam TL2 3 wood and hybrids.

Same here....I caved due to the GC/ebates/coupons....but now I need to call and get the GC for free. Also I am trying to make another order for fwys and it's not taking the 20 of 125 anymore.
