> If you woke up and realised it was Monday, you are not yet in full retirement mode. We have to open our IPads or turn on the TV to find out what day it is. The best part is not having to know, unless of course the golf bug is biting

Yeah, rookie, that's why I go out on the retirement range first. Hit a bucket of coffee, check out how others are playing things. Maybe don't shave for a day, get this far into April and the kitchen calendar is still on March. Be at home for the entire cycle of the dish washer. Learning to compress stuff in the trash by pushing it down, so it doesn't quite need to be taken out yet (that will certainly save on liners). I've always been able to draw, but I'm learning this year to fade better. I can sit down in a chair and fade into sleep much quicker thanks to retirement...

Ah, the blessing of being able to drive a car. I still drive in my dreams a lot, however I noticed over the weekend I dreamed I drove our car home and my DW said 'how come you are driving, you aren't supposed to be driving?', so I suppose it's a matter of time & I won't be allowed to drive there either :#

Never had that happen and I also have to hit the like button three times for it to record a like. Seemas if we are all running in different versions. Never been able to see who recorded a like on this new software.

Which is sad because I said several pages back my DW was getting me a new treadmill so I can work on my dorsiflexors to help cure my foot drop, and now it will be here next week, coming from Richard's Sporting Goods..., formerly known as DSG

The likes have been tallied immediately when I click the button. No lag, accurate count, name shows up. Ran down the list of recent posts with no issue. Running OSX/Safari on a MBP just like you. Might try a like then a refresh to see what happens.

Have not been able to view who supplied likes on a mobile device (iPhone, iPad) running iOS. Or at least figured it out yet. On the laptop, there's a popup that appears when hovering over the "Like" button showing who.

Would add that I've noticed a sticky response lag on mobile when I try and perform a task like opening a forum thread. Seems to require a couple of attempts, tapping on what I want to open "just" right. Same for adding a like. Using just my finger rather than a stylus. Read where the Bossmen are placing a lot of emphasis on cleaning up issues with the mobile skin.

@Conrad1953 ; not sure I'm in love with the XXL emojis either. Why can't we just have something in the middle rather than on the extremes?

Scr*w this being a senior. Your allowed all the juvenile moments you want!

Being a senior simply means that were supposed to know to call it a day before something bad happens, but we should all strive to live our lives with the joy of a child.

Awesome Bill. The older we get the more we appreciate fine moments like the one you're having now!

> If score were a life and death matter yesterday, little white crosses would have been planted all over the place - lol. Let's describe hole#1, a microcosm of the entire round. Par 5. Very respectable drive. Nice 5-wood hoping to leave it on a good lie about 125 out. So far so good. Opt for a 9 iron versus nuking a wedge. FAT!!! From short of the green a simple 53* pitch. THIN!!! Now behind the green. CHUNK!!! Texas wedge rolls 15' short. Potential opening birdie turns into a snowman. Note to self: Reason, please go work more on your game from 125 and in - especially basics pitching and chipping.

>

> Did manage to card two birdies and a couple of pars. So there's hope despite 7 of the 18 holes collectively were enough to add at least 15 totally blown strokes all with wedge in-hand. (There's always next time!). So glad spring is finally here.

This post brought back a fond old memory. SOBcutosis????fmovatg9zrw5.png
