No idea, but I think they can all get around a golf course. You need to add a long putt, a six foot downhill slider, a 30 yard pitch to a tight pin, a shot out of the woods, and a vanilla wedge into an easy pin. Then we'd have it nailed for sure.

I've seen good looking swings produce mediocre scores and swings with huge issues beat par. Any of those swings can beat par on several courses - provided the owners can repeat it on a reliable basis. So this is just a guess.

Have we seen these guy before OB? IIRC, these guys were all very good players and you should only judge them by the scorecard, not the perception of the swing.

It is, for sure, a goofy exercise. There are more elements that matter than just a swing (like "where'd you hit the ball with that swing?" or "pretty whiff").

It is, for sure, a goofy exercise. There are more elements that matter than just a swing (like "where'd you hit the ball with that swing?" or "pretty whiff").

You guys are forgetting Obee said "assume no short game or putting issues". That's another way of saying they have good short games and putting. Plus, you can tell from their impact pattern with irons face on generally how their ball striking is, and this usually translated into ability.

 

It's actually not that futile at all. Even if these guys were horrible putters, none of them would be higher than an 8.

Are they playing from appropriate tees?

They look like solid players but a couple don't look like they have a lot of speed so may be challenged on longer courses.
