Nospeed, definitely look into benock....there is actually quite a lot out of Japan that is pretty rad, but again it is all Mostly polished. Golds factory mods is about as out there as Japan gets and it is literally garage style mods that are made to look factory. But I Love me some golds putters.

 

That 8802 style head looks nice, is there a pick of the back flange? They tend to be rounded and fat or long and skinny. My mind says the round and fat is way to go, but I have an epon zen that has changed my outlook on that a lot. That blade looks about perfect length if it has a little fatness in the flange, but hard to tell in that pic. I think you have to make a head like that at some point or have it in your lineup.....classic can't miss.

While the big one I am not sure about, I lean toward liking it because another perpendicular line and hell, anything different is good. That is the sharpest putter I have seen here from a cnc standpoint of taking a classic design and doing enough to distinguish while keeping it not tacky.

 

So how much are these things? I seem to have missed that in all this? $1k-$3k depending on the amount of "flare"?

All good questions. The pictures here are the only pictures of only one that is known to be in the wild, as far as I know.

 

Definitely a cool putter and I'm a huge fan of this model. Recently got an Ingles heel-shafted and I'm rather infatuated with the thing. Greatly looking forward to possibly getting a 75002.

I believe there are a few, a very few, floating around, but stainless is certainly the go to at the moment.

No, it's actually Carbon steel. There are at least a handful of carbon steel Lamb putters out there that I'm aware of. 2 Allendales, 2 Cambens, 1 Hartwick.

No, it's actually Carbon steel. There are at least a handful of carbon steel Lamb putters out there that I'm aware of. 2 Allendales, 2 Cambens, 1 Hartwick.

I know Tyson is ramping up and making a ton of product for the show. Does he sell all these items there? does he give them for free to possible vendors or pros that want to do business? Are they just for display and once the show is done, he'll be selling those made items for the show?

No way Cobra would do that - they are owned by Puma SE now which also owns Acushent, Titleist and Scotty is there too.

 

Acushnet used to own Cobra, sold it off to Puma. A few years later, Fortune Brands, who owned Acushnet at the time sold Acushnet to Fila.

 

Right now, Cobra doesn't do putters, so I think it would be cool if they got Tyson. Rickie Fowler and Tyson together would be really neat.

I believe Tyson's putters and probably a bunch of accessories will be on display at the Table Rock booth and I assume will be for sale there as well. Scotty used to have a relationship with the booth and would always draw a crowd of people dropping $10k+ on putters sometimes sight unseen. Now that Table Rock as I understand it is a big Lamb distributor I would assume they'll have a lot of cool stuff.

 

The show is supposed to be for people in the industry to go and see the hot new things for this year and place orders etc. some booths actually sell product there but I don't think there are a lot of things being given away for free other than little freebies
