Great pickups....putters are too rich for my blood (not that they aren't beautiful), but I for sure will be picking up headcovers throughout next year. I think I'd lose his ballmarkers and divot tools

 

You be surprise how much more you pay attention when you spend above average on golf pieces.

Nice getting out to play golf in December. In Oklahoma and Texas its usually pretty easy.

Do you guys really replace beat up golf balls. If I don't lose it it's getting played the entire round. I guess I never found I was a good enough golfer for the ball to affect my score.

Never! I like playing a golf ball that looks like it's been through a war. That said, they usually don't stick around long enough to get there.

Bought a whole dozen of the new Titleist AVX balls after 2 rounds im almost out no shame :rofl:

If there is a bad gash yes but it is a winter round/handicap season is over, so did not care.

I play it until I lose it or the round is over (whatever comes first). Beaten balls that survive the round go in the bin. Usually where my kids reload from.

raiders and a few others of the TCC crew have been graciously received hookups with Tyson to get in the mainline of his collecting early -- while most of us are waiting for him to drop a REALLY small number of putters at a time.

 

if you want to wonder why there is angst or negative comments floating around about Tyson it's probably b/c of that - the inability to purchase something they'd like to, while others can seemingly magically receive more than one (can't remember his name on here, has at least 3 at last count).

 

Not really anyone else. Just me really. I have also known Tyson for a few years and was booted off TCC for supporting Tyson. Do I receive special treatment? You bet your butt I do. While many were skeptical I was all in on tyson. None of it really matters to be honest. If you don't want to buy anything there are at least 822 people, or whatever the traffic number at release time was, that do. At this point I am starting to enjoy the bashing.

 

I remember this exact same thing happening when I was on TCC. You don't think bill vogeney was getting special treatment? Or fakuda San or mac San. Or Paige and Nancy. All while the rest of us were waiting years to get customs made. The world is full of favoritism. Usually support curries favorites. More putters will drop next week. Try and buy one if you'd like. Or don't. I was asked to not even try to buy a putter during the release. again 16 putters released and 15 went to first time putter owners. Doesn't seem like favorites there. But what do I know. I'm just one of the biggest putter collectors in the game (and that's of all makers). I didn't ever want to flaunt before. But what the heck. You guys bring out the best in me. I also recall offering to try to help anyone who wanted it to try and get a putter.

 

I like putters. I'm starting to enjoy the whining even more. My door for help is open to anyone except people that complain.

I don't think so. There are some out in the market but not as details or as nice as these.
