Got a good pic of some of the new goods this weekend. Made a pretty good trade for the divot repair tool, the new pop top ball marker, and tried the new AVX golf ball. Was a nice weekend in Oklahoma. Ill have a putter someday to include in the pics.

Actually it was for Capital Classic a DC area SC event. The organizer had these made a tee gifts but the weather went bad and not many showed up. The organizer sold these off at cost to recoup funds.

Actually it was for Capital Classic a DC area SC event. The organizer had these made a tee gifts but the weather went bad and not many showed up. The organizer sold these off at cost to recoup funds.

Since you guys like quality these guys in the UK remind me alot of Tyson. Mill their own heads and everything in house.

 

Not familiar with the brand and not trying to hate, but that particular putter looks like a poor man’s version of a mish-mash of several other makers. After Googling them, it’s hard to tell what they’re trying to do...which really gets to the crux of what separates the guys at the top from the rest.

i think i speak for the fanboys when i say if we were concerned about the value of our putters, we wouldn't have bought them when hardly no one knew who he was and only knew it by word of mouth, the quality of the putters i mean. i think it's somewhat the same today, word of mouth wise, unfortunately. further unfortunate are you and Kaexo who don't know or care the quality of the putters. what are you doing here again?

LB — you are not wrong. In the end, all putter are just a hunk of steel that have this or that done to it.

 

Kinda of like a car.. it goes a to b but others want it to be shiny and stand out.

 

Some care about the brand and others do not

 

So MB is not wrong when he says you have thrown more negatives than any positives.

 

However, the sensitivity is high because all Tyson get is bashed for just making putters and markers.

 

Starting from a garage to building what we all see now is big.

 

So in a world it only takes 2 seconds to throw out a negative. Let us all try to spend a few more looking at the positives in all.

I don't own a Lamb putter, but thanks for assuming that just because your comments annoy me that you are hurting the value of my imaginary putter.

I've been keeping up with this thread (like anyone does on WRX) to stay up to date with a growing brand and seeing whats next. Unfortunately there are a couple people who just can't help but shower the readers with negativity (or piss in their cornflakes). And its people like you and Kaexo's Raybons that give even more legitimacy to the brand.

Some people hate BMWs. Some hate the people who drive them.

You don't see such vitriol about Kia and their owners. Why is that? Hmmmm.....

It’s amazing to me that he is commanding this level of interest/high prices. Piretti, which I love, makes exceptional putters for far more reasonable prices. I can sort of see it with Cameron’s given the long history and tour presence. But the buzz Lamb’s been able to generate straight out of the gate is pretty impressive.

It is frustrating to endure and ignore haters who want to come in and take cheap shots from the cheap seats... and equally frustrating to see responses like yours when an inference to Lamb's originality (or lack thereof) is raised.

 

Perhaps instead of treating it as a full-on accusation you could have acknowledged that "Why yes, it does look a lot like the Chanel logo (it does), however I don't believe Tyson was responsible for designing the image. The event organizer provided him with the proof and he simply reproduced it." Or maybe Tyson DID design it, and then legitimacy is given to the inference.

 

Find the facts to support your position, or don't, but know that lashing out without finding any just paints you and the brand in a bad light to those who don't know otherwise.

Correct the organizer of the event supplied the proof and then asked Tyson if this could be done.Tyson made it. End of story

Lambcrafted makes some incredible products. The fit and finish of the putters and accessories is right at the top of the industry. I am a boring, square, button-up kind of guy so some of the stuff (i.e. f-bombs, beer cans, nuts, etc.) aren't really my cup of tea, but even those I appreciate how well they are done. Aesthetically, the guy does some things that are very innovative and well executed imho. Whether or not his business model is good is his business and time will tell.

 

That being said, I don't understand why this thread is so personal. Not everyone is going to like it and the work speaks for itself. My first introduction to lambcrafted was through an article where the brand came across as brash, arrogant, and condescending to other makers who made this space even possible. While I do feel like Tyson has tried to walk this image back a little, his surrogates are doing him no favors imho. I know that when people are criticizing the brand, for many of you they are criticizing your buddy. However, many people here have personal relationships with Byron, LaMont, Lump, David, etc. I would love it if everybody just starting treating each other with respect and we could actually see some lamb goodies on here.

Yes, I have been critical. I have also said he makes cool stuff. This thread would not get the attention it does if it was solely a TL lovefest.

 

I have tried unsuccessfully to buy his products during the releases. Hopefully, with the arrival of another machine production will go up and I will be able to show off my "pocket grab" pictures.

Great pickups....putters are too rich for my blood (not that they aren't beautiful), but I for sure will be picking up headcovers throughout next year. I think I'd lose his ballmarkers and divot tools
