F6 Baffler users - still using it?

Absolutely love the Baffler. For me a heavier shaft also worked much better. It's the only club between my driver and 4 iron.

I really hope that Cobra considers this club a success & if they role out a new & improved model next year that they will make this club available in a left handed model.

Cobra, please make a 7 wood loft adjustable from 19.5 - 22.5! I love my 5 wood too much, but a rescue 7 wood would be perfect for long high approach shots from the rough on a par 5.

Mine has a hzrdus 75 6.0 at 3/4" over and it feels very well balanced and very controllable.

I'd just like to bump this topic simply for the fact that this is the best club ever made. I can't tell you how easy it is to hit and how often it has gotten me out of a crappy spot on the golf course.

Seriously considering spending a few bucks to throw a steel shaft in mine. I have the Tour Blue 85 in it, and to me the club still feels too light. At least compared to my other fairway wood with an RIP 80 in it.

Mine has the hzrdus black 75 at 6.0 and 3/4" over. It actually feels on the heavy side. When I demoed a Titleist 915FD 18 degree in blue 70 and white 80 the blue actually felt heavier although it is really lighter. The blue felt head heavier.

Got mine in a few days ago. Haven't gamed it yet, but in the initial shots on the range, it clearly beats my SLDR in terms of forgiveness and distance. Easy contact off turf. Glad I ordered it at +3/4". HZRDUS 6.0 75.

3HL and 2 Hybrid. I believe this club can replace both if I can control distance with it. I won't be able to say for sure until next season. But as of now neither taylormade club is safe...

I've tried the Baffler in everything from 16* to 19* and still can't get used to it (with the Tour Blue 85X). I think 16* was the best setting but that's not saying a lot either. It was incredibly long off the tee for a small headed 16* club. The club looks and feels great, so I can't decide if I want to keep trying or sell it and move on.

Dropped my 3 wood. Installed a Matrix 7m3 Stiff in the Baffler. Lofted this down to 16.5 D. It is a canon off of the tee and can be hit from the worst of lies. Love it. It is staying in the bag.

I love it so much that I just picked up a second head & am gonna bag 2 of them. One is going to play at 16' and about 42.25 or 42.5 and the other is already playing at 19' and 41.5".

Love mine as well ever since it went in the bag. And my spare Baffler head just went to eddiebigeddie. Curious to hear the difference in switching to two bafflers as I will be playing his old setup with an F7 3w and 19* baffler.

Just got off the range with mine for a nice practice session. How can you argue with 30 consecutive straight bombs that just land perfect. I’ll say again. The club is like a 200 yd wedge.

Since this thread was bumped...just wanted to add my piece of useless info. I've loved this club since it came out, been in the bag since. Its the easiest club to hit & most accurate one in my bag. I love it so much that I just picked up a second head & am gonna bag 2 of them. One is going to play at 16' and about 42.25 or 42.5 and the other is already playing at 19' and 41.5".

 

Right on. I've been seriously considering the same thing as well. I'm really liking my 917F 3 wood tho, but as soon as it misbehaves...

I've thought abt this more than once. If I can't get along w the Rogue black f7 hybrid, that's what I'm gonna do

Love my rogue black shafts in my hybrids. Have the same shaft in my Baffler. I was going to use the spare head at 16* with a rogue silver but never got around to it.

Ya the black in the baffler hasn't and isn't going anywhere

I tried the silver in my baffler briefly and it acted like a different animal. Not near as penetrating a flight, and felt like I could miss it two ways. A bit surprised actually. The silver will be tried in the F7 first, followed by the black.

My 2 shafts I’ve tried and play in mine are the Tour Blue 75 and the Hzrdus Red 75. They are both excellent for me.

The Rogue Black, Tour Blue and HZDRUS Red are 3 very similar shaft profiles. So that makes sense. I will be surprised if this Rogue Silver works out in the F7. Will most likely end up with another Rogue Black or put my AD DI shaft in.

I just wanna say again, that the Baffler club is my favorite club in the bag. Yesterday hit a bad drive that left me 250+ out and fairway over on par 5. Well, humble brag...proceeded to hit the Baffler set at 19’ to 10 yds off the green on a dead rope. Still haven’t hit the other Baffler (set at 16 and inch longer then current set up) but I’m equally excited.
