I got fitted on 2/22 and still haven't received my irons yet. 4-PW with Project X 6.0 LZ shafts

 

that seems odd, seems like they are waiting on something...........

 

Just ordered today, Edwin Watts said ~10days.

 

White / +.5" / DG X100 / 1* strong

 

Can't wait

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, I've called twice to see what's going on but still haven't heard anything

I ordered March 5th and got mine yesterday modus 105. They must be waiting on your shafts or grips.

I know PING couldn't get the LZ shaft until around March 9. I waited a month on that shaft to come into PING. The clubs arrived at my club March 15, and were ordered on February 13. Hope that helps.

Thank you for the reply and the poster above you. That seems to be the case. What's got me a little upset at this point is the place that I ordered through hasn't bothered to return my calls and give me this information or any information. I assume Ping would tell them it's the shaft that's holding them up

Just got off the phone with the fitter and apparently the Project X LZ shaft is backordered until early May! Hope they are worth the wait lol :-)

Ok pulled the trigger on a set yesterday then began to wonder.. would Ping put i200's out in there new stealth finish?

Never say never, but my uninformed opinion is probably no.

 

They have offered different club head materials in the past in the same iron head. But don’t recall the same iron head material being offered in different finishes.

Assuming their normal product cycle it makes very little sense for them to start doing that.

Agreed. But has ping ever offered a black finish on an iron?

I love my i200's. Consistent distance, baby draw on regular swings and I can work it both ways. I had the i20's and loved them, then got the ie 1's which played the same. I got on the JPX Hot Metal kick with the crazy distance but had no control. After a 120 ball trackman fitting session on a range with mats, the i200's ratio was 10X better in accuracy than anything else.

And the i200 has a lot of fans. My new set came in today.

 

Now that we have gotten our first look at the upcoming i210, I am even more glad I jumped on the price drop and grabbed the i200. I like the looks more of the current head. Super deal for custom fit, high-quality club. Cannot wait to try them out.
