Interesting that Mark Shuttleworth who owned HBD that was funding FS bailed last month. He is the guy who helped to invent digital certificates and was purchased from Verisign. I'm going to do some more back reading. Clawback provision in FS's contract maybe.

For those of you who are using a Flight Scope Unit. How many stickers do you place on the ball. One shop I was at said they were using 4 on each ball when fitting for a driver. One on each pole of the ball. Any thoughts on this?

That's just plain stupid. This is why there are issues with monitors, the people that own them don't know how to use them properly. Sorry, just ranting.

 

One sticker per ball, faced towards the target...just like the instructions say.

The cable allows you use your iphone/ipad to play movies or apps on a HD TV. I have a small 32" Samsung that I want to setup in the garage next to my net. It was around $15

 

 

This is what I had in mind with connecting the Mevo to the TV the cheapest way possible.

no, That's the screen shot of the iPhone from their website. I was just showing that if the Mevo did exist then you can use it on a TV for around $15. My ES12 actually plays sound through the TV now with its app.

Monday April 3rd is the exactly 2 years to the date when FS filed for the patent. MEVO means "Gull" according to their patent.

Watching the Live on the range to see if there is any Mevo sighting and nothing. Announcers said something about DJ checking his numbers and it stopped me in my tracks. Is that a mini GC2 or am I seeing things?

Um no, those guys either have Trackman or GCQuad. If you think these guys are relying on a Mevo type device to check their numbers I need some of the junk you're smoking. Think you need to lower your expectations just a wee bit on the capabilities of this thing.

I was looking for a Trackman or FS behind him and there was nothing on the ground that I could see. The just showed Kaymer on the range and they definitely have launch monitors hidden somewhere. **announcers did just say Trackmans on the range**

Masters have their own set up as well. They were tracking both Bill Hass drives and Kymer approach shots live with data.

Butch was saying DJ only uses the Trackman for the wedges and can call his shot with the distances. Funny when he said to DJ about trying new drivers on the range, "Just use the goddam one you just won with !!"
