Shaft looks amazing! They sent me a '60TX' flex so I'm a little intimidated haha. Did anyone receive a 'X'? Just trying to figure out if that was an option.

I asked for 70x and got 70tx, was so pumped I didn't even notice until others mentioned it, long after I'd gripped it. :lol: Hit it briefly this morning when trying out the Epic, but was tiring so swings were sloppy. Dig the colors, work well with the epic. Got the green as well as I felt somewhat scared off by the uber low talk of the black.

So, mine came in this weekend, and it is gorgeous! I went with the Green Mamba 70 tx. I will be trimming it to playing length and installing a new tip on it this week, and hitting it on Friday in the LM. This is a great looking shaft, and it's going to look quite nice in the Epic SZ. Pictures really don't do this thing justice. They've added some very nice aesthetic bonuses to it, that aren't distracting, but when hit with the right light, really shine through.

I have mine trimmed and adapter installed. MN driving ranges and courses are opening tomorrow, so it's going to get some out door time. Boy does this thing look good in an Epic... just as I figured. Even with a couple waggles and practice swings, I love the way this feels.

Got my first round in with the green xtorsion today. Range results had been good but not great, but as always the course results were different. Was very happy with the results today. Nice flight with my 816 dbd, control for the most part was good. I was a little concerned that I should have selected the black instead of the green but those worries were put to rest today. Nice strong flight with more launch than normal for me, appeared to spin properly as well. Just 1 round but very promising.

Did this thread move elsewhere? Not seeing a whole lot in terms of reviews, numbers, etc? Just curious if more still to come as it looks like it was some time ago.

These shafts were part of a give away not a dedicated review for the manufacturer. These shafts are still Tour only at this point but I believe Aldila plans to launch them to retail this summer.

Gotcha, was just curious why the reviews and details were lacking. That makes sense though. I've heard good things about the Black Mamba and was just curious if there were any supporting facts on this thread.
