I don't mind. With my car it's an affordable very nice car and many people are surprised with how reasonable it is with all the options it has. As far as my watches, apartment, etc. if anyone really wanted or needed to know a quick google search of a brand or my apartment complex could tell you what it cost me.

As in....

Stranger....."How much were those shoes?"

Buddy........."170.00"

stanger........"Gheesh, 170.00?"

buddy.........."Why, is that expensive?" is a great comeback.

Two categories as most have already said:

 

If someone is genuine and really wants to know how much a driver, car, house cost simply because they are looking to buy something similar or interested in the same thing that's cool.

 

If someone is asking how much things cost to size you up or starts asking you how much money you make simply to put you in some kind of box, that's BS. I would tell that dude where to go.
