A bit more on the SLAY after 6 rounds - the 55 03 is high launch, spin seems fine - more for the 80's-88 smooth driver swing speed - I am low 90's at the moment and will send it in to tip .25 inches to firm it up slightly, reduce dispersion. Smooth, long, with a kick. As you move up in weight, I am told they firm up. My playing partners say "don't tip it" but right now, I am just putting a high 80's swing on it, not going after it at all.

These remind me of Veylix a lot

unreal shafts, spectacular perfomers, next to no press or hype

 

Raijin profile is perfect for me and I cannot say enough about them - and I have tried Most of the latest and greatest

 

let's keep talking them up and hopefully more people try and convert

6 in driver and 7 in 3 wood - Love them both

leaning toward trying the hybrid shaft in my u65 2 iron - have an even flow blue hybrid shaft in there now

the kiyoshi gold and raijin were very similar for me in terms of launch and spin but the raijin feels much better in my opinion. I also used an even flow blue 75 in a fairway and thought it was similar. i never hit the black. the evenflow always went left on me so it didn't last long. I love the raijin though. the gold is also great, you probably wouldn't find too much of a difference, maybe a tad lower launch with the raijin for most people

yes correct. I haven't used an ef black but the raijin's are the best feeling shafts I've ever used so I'm not even considering anything else at the moment.

Just to boost the hype, a very good golfer I know installed the Raijin 54 Stiff in a TM M1 440 head. This is the low 60’s gram shaft. He crushes it and says it is stable but feels great. He is a strong swinger who used to get his drives to 280 with rollout and he is now carrying it 280. Couldn’t say enough good things about it. He saw no need to move up in shaft weight.

I have the Raijin in my 3 wood and 3 hybrid. I'd agree that it's pretty stout for a "stiff". With my swing speed, I'm right in the grey area between stiff and x-stiff. The Raijin stiff held up well, and it was transformational to my 3 wood performance. Can't say enough good things about it.

Just put a 74x in a new build our metro’s best fitter helped me with. I was in PGA Superstore ATL and most of the guys had never seen one, much less hit it. My shaft wasn’t a fit for most who tried it, but it loads like crazy for me when I’m patient enough to make a good cut. I’ve never played a setup so good.
