Since most of his putters are just copies Ping, T.P. Mills, and even the Odyssey mallets, why don't we just ask which of those are the best? Copy Cameron's are pretty to look at, but nothing original; at least the ones he's known for.

Are you sure? I've never heard anyone ever say anything like that. Ever. I mean EVER.

Here's my favorite that I wish I never had to sell.

This is one of many Scotty putters I owned between the years 2000-2013. So sad I had to sell off my collection. Maybe one day I'll find another Cami & Co.

And here's my favorite gamer that I sold back to the original owner.

My personal favorite is this art of putting oil can Newport that the custom shop refinished in pro platinum.

I never could have imagined laying in bed describing pieces of metal as "simply gorgeous," lmao, but this is where I am so I embrace it and wait for Madison to bring me dinner cuz the hospital food really really sucks and I ordered off of the "gourmet" menu??

Boy do I feel for the peeps who got the regular menu, lmao

Oh yea, Bro, this piece of metal is simply gorgeous!!!

Truly spectacular?

My Best,

RP

In 2004, my wife bought me a Studio Stainless Newport 2. I've never owned a golf club as long.

I try to buy a game with every other club in the bag, but I walk right past the putter section. Sure, every couple of years I'll stop and hit a test putt with a callaway, ping, or taylormade, just to remind myself of their inferior quality.

Newport is my favourite putter model or style. I love the simplicity in my blue gun or black oxide Newport with no sightline and it just lines up so well and the weight feels good to me.

I am wishing to pickup a button back Newport or an 009 with a sound slot in a dark finish. I like simplicity so the less stamps the better. The Newport Tour would be right up my alley...

Really wanting to grab a Scotty not even to game but just to ya know hoard lol. So what is your favorite Scotty? I love the Del Mar and the 2.5 anyone have something unique?

I have far more than I need but there is one which really stands out with respect to being unique as I have never seen another remotely like it as the cavity is very deep which creates a ping sound when putting. It is an older style, maybe Santa Fe or Newport-ish, welded flow neck, and hand-stamped "Cameron" on the face.

The face thickness varies from 1.25mm from the top to 2.35mm at the bottom. Incredibly light weight.

If I can figure out how to upload a picture, I will.

Here they are. Hope someone knows anything about this.

that is a very cool looking putter, does it still have that softer feel with the different face?

I can tell you this is a Tour Scotty, Pro Platinum finished with welded neck and yes a deeper cavity which I have never seen or heard of. But I can bet it adds bounce like a beached/sound alot adds bounce and feel.

Super cool amd worth some $$!

- Something that continues to go long off the tee in the fairway
- Something that is a fairway finder when needed and long
- Something that high, consistent and helps with par 5’s
-  Something to help with long par3’s and short par 4’s

-  Something metal, lots of them and go the gaps I need
- Something metal, 2x of them and helps me 120y and in
- Putters - limited rotation because I cannot afford misses

Golf is what you make of it.  Play grateful and accepting. We are all lucky to have it.

Rather than expecting lets all try and appreciate instead.

I like the simple older style 009, except I now play an "m" and love just as much as pre-masterful....the others sit, and my 2 and a half year old whacks balls around the house with my favorite old gamer (Monterey)

Unique and confusing. I look at it and think three different things but unsure of which it is as it has been a few years since I've been actively engaged in the Cameron world.

1. Newport oval track with some extra weight milled out of the cavity

2. Newport with the "ears" milled off into an oval track

3. Catalina II with the "ears" milled off into an oval track with a little more depth milled to remove weight

I have a friend who has a Catalina II with a welded plumbers neck that has three bombs milled into the cavity to remove weight. The bombs are as deep as any I've ever seen in person, could fit my pinky in and cover probably half the finger nail. So there is a lot of room there to mill the cavity to the depth seen on this putter so I lean toward that as the head shape used to create it.

Really interesting piece, haven't seen anything like it with that overall cavity depth.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
