Honestly, no joking around...it's cemented it's spot- regardless of what head is on the end of it. Dependable, consistent, likes both shot shapes (albeit 20y max either way lol), and hits the ground running like crazy. That good.

I love the fact that I can hit a cut with the normal spin rate of a draw. It's a beautiful thing to see a power fade hit the ground running, as opposed to sticking where it lands.

That is Synergy Blue, the retail shaft. There will also be a Synergy Green which is a bit lower spin. This one is the Tour only BLACK proto. It's designed to be massively low spin, too low for a retail product release. It's designed specifically for a segment of Tour players who need massive spin reduction, just like a lot of us better ams as well. The Black profile is Tour only and won't be released retail, and shouldn't. There's only a select group of players who really need a shaft like this, and the rest would not be able to keep the ball in the air. As for 65, it is possible, but I can't promise that. We did just get more 75 in today, and I have a few unspoken for pieces available still.

Is there any information on the differences in this Synergy Tour Proto and the Phene'd prototype? I have 3 Phene'ds and love them. Wondering if anyone has direct experience for comparison or if its known they are one in the same?

The Phene was an early proto using graphene, before Mitsubishi took over Aldila and redesigned it. Material wise it's close, and profile wise it's still low spin, but they are two different shafts.

Dual Core XT is one of my top 3 favorite driver shafts. If the Synergy didn't exist, that's what I would be playing, and was playing before it.

Question is IF I can find the synergy to try what weight would be most comparable?

The more likely option will be a KKDC as I can find them for sale, again which weight option 70 or 80 will be most similar?

You can go wrong with the dual core XT. Phenomenal golf shaft. If your spin rate is at all high with the kkdcxt, synergy is about the only choice from that point.

Pretty traditional. Very similar to a Kuro Kage or Tensei Pro Blue.
