Hylands is always worth the drive. it's about 40 min from my place, which is on the music center side of Noblesville. Best service anywhere, and it's a fun layout. I'm also garage to first tee at Stony Creek in about 8-10 minutes depending on if anyone is in line when I get there. But I have not played it yet this year. Looks great from the road though and everything looks healed after they cooked the greens 2 summers ago. Their tee sheet has been slammed though since reopening, and I've been traveling a bit to play this month. A group of us are heading south to play Chariot Run and Old Capital on Friday downstate. Should be fun if we don't melt.

 

I'm in the "high risk" category too from the virus, so I get the social distance thing - and everyone I've played with from here does as well. Only been forced to ride together once so far (Coyote Crossing). I think courses are making you pony up now if you want to ride separate, and I'd gladly do that.

 

So who can get out when next week? I'm flexible other than Thursday morning.

Yeah, I've gladly been paying the extra as well for a separate cart although Purgatory charged an extra $15 per person which is a little salty. I'm near 146th and US-37 so it sounds like we are pretty close. Also invested in a nice push cart and walked Purgatory which taught me how terribly out of shape I am... Oof. I am going to head to IU tomorrow with dad, but I'd love to play next week. I work from home until 3:30p so not sure if that meshes with schedules. But if anyone has interest in after 3:30 im available any day next week.

I'm "working" from home as well. After 3:30 might work for me. Hit n miss on which days I'll be available.

Money games each day for the next 4 so I'll be happy to be back to work on Monday to get some rest.

Striking the ball pretty well but I haven't sniffed par yet this year. 77 might be best so far.

Had my driver tamed for a while then lost it again. Love this game!

 

Also, was at Stonehenge in Winona Lake yesterday. Course was in good shape. Greens were excellent and fast. HUGE clubhouse is being renovated at this time. Worth a trip up.

Other than a nagging finger injury, everything is going great. Getting more consistent and finally getting to where I know my swing. Courses have been in absolutely terrific shape this year. Probably the best, in my opinion, of the few years i have been playing.

Glad to hear Stonehenge reopened after closing briefly a few years ago. I enjoyed the layout when I played it.

 

If I could keep my driver under control, and get over this calf injury, I'd be playing arguably my best golf. But I am Jekyll/Hyde off the tee. Irons and putting has been solid.

Donald Ross course at French Lick this morning.

Maybe my 4th or 5th play there and I've NEVER seen it in better shape than this morning.

Decent Bloody Maria. FANTASTIC grilled tenderloin on a freshly baked pretzel bun. Service is always good.
