Playoff system is a joke don't get me started I would be pissed if I was Minny or Toronto

 

It should be best versus worst each round and semi-finals should be interconference. Thus you could get the Leafs - Canadiens or Flames - Oilers finals. Does anyone really care about the conference championships anyway?

 

Hopefully the Flyers can force a game 7 tonight!

Including the first three playoff games (and consequently Parise's last three) of this season, Parise had 8 goals in the last 8 games of the season (5 goals in the last 5 games of the regular season, and 11 goals in his last 16 regular season games). Is there another player in the NHL that has that stat line in their last 8 games?

 

 

If it wasn't for goon plays by Winnipeg taking cheapshots, Parise was rounding right into form. The Wild should goon it up and take names for the liberties the Jets took with Parise.

Yeah, it'll be a tough series against Mr. Underwood and co. It'll come down to Pekka Rinne though....he seemed to struggle in the Colorado series.

It actually looks like he has some of the talent people talked about years ago. :D

 

Obviously the first round didn't go as I had hoped with only the Knights, Preds and Sharks advancing of those I hope would.

 

As for the future, I hope Marchand gets a suspension in game 1 against Tampa and doesn't play again in these playoffs but the Bruins beat Lightning, the Preds beat Jets, Knights beat Sharks and Pens beat Caps.

Teams/franchises I like: Wash, Vegas, SJ, Boston...and since they gooned it up against the Wild, I don't like them as much, Winn.

 

 

I don't care to see Pitt, Tampa or Nashville win the Cup.

I’m pumped for Jets-Preds series. Probably will be the best playoff series this year.

I can't see anyone beating LV right now. They look so dominant in every aspect of the game. Digging, checking, puck pursuit, transition, puck handling, passing, posting up. You almost never see them back on their heels. Oh yeah, also Fleury is unconscious.

And the Wild (namely Chuck Fletcher) are feeling really stupid right now watching Haula and Tuch light it up.

 

 

I never wanted to see Haula go (NCAA players seem to take longer to grow into the NHL game) but didn't see enough of Tuch to form an opinion on him. He's playing like a first rounder now though.

My Sharks. Wow. That was tough to watch. Took one bite of my sandwich and it was 1-0. Had to go pee and actually ended up taking a dump. When I came back it was 97-0. Game over. Took a 2nd bite and it was 216-0. This series is over. Nobody loses like that IN THE FIRST GAME and wins a series. Total embarrassment. Now no Kane for game 2, looks like Vegas will win big again. Got one foot on the Winnipeg bandwagon......go Jets!!!

SJ looks like a totally different team tonight. Forechecking well, stalling LV between the blue lines, and hitting. Although 2 goals were not really on Fleury, but that's why you keep putting the puck on the net..

Holy crap I looked down at my computer for like 10 seconds to type something and LV scored. Can't take your eyes off the tv screen with that team or you will just be watching replays and highlights.
