F7 fairway wood

I have a Cobra F7 fairway wood that I hit a very long way, but it seems a little longer than I am comfortable with. Would it make more sense to cut my current shaft .5-.75 inches, or to buy a shorter shaft with a Cobra adapter? I do not normally try to change my clubs, so I am not sure what the pros/cons of either would be.

can you turn the loft up more? or have you tried already?

Sorry, I meant the shaft felt a little long, I think I would be more consistent with it if the playing length was closer to 42.5.

There's nothing wrong with cutting the club down if it feels too long for you. Just know that in doing so you'll change the swing weight and it will feel lighter. For some people that's no big deal, others it's a problem. Some lead tape likely would fix the problem.

I'm weird, i like the look of a bit of tape.

 

I actually added a few grams to my cobra fly z wood with the stock length because it felt light.

I put a 42" steel shaft on a baffler F and its a nice feeling club.

I ended up selling it on ebay. I bought a shorter shaft to put in it, but the swing weight felt too light. Since I could never get comfortable with it, I decided to part ways with it.

I cut a 1/2 inch off the shaft in my F7 3 wood. I also play it at 16*. Thing is a weapon.

bought a used f7 3 wood with an evenflow blue shaft. It is long and consistent beat out an epic, rogue.m5.m6 nothing has been better for me_._

why didnt you try some lead tape first?

bought a used f7 3w, i will put the evenflow white in it and cut it to 42,5``. maybe i will need some lead tape after that.

Got my used F7 3w in today. Warmed up then Set it up at 15,5 and hit the first shot (pic)

Few days agoI thought i´ll buy a new one. but I can not imagine what a newer model could give me the f7 couldnt.

Effortless ball striking and the results were absolutely reproducible!

will put my gamer shaft in it next days... future looks bright ?
