Which shoes are best for wide feet?

So I just got some Cool Pros and they have the extra wide removable in soles. Will I be losing comfort by remove the in sole? I feel like I would be, but I know they are made to do this.

Any feedback from people who have removed the in soles for the extra wide?

Just to be clear the Ecco Biom 3 models have provision for extra width, I'm not sure all Ecco models do. When you remove the insole there is another removable layer that you take out to get the extra width. Once its out you put the normal insole back in.

I wear 13W, and Footjoy has always fit me best. My favorites for years have been Dryjoys/Dryjoy Tours. My last purchase last month was a pair of all black Dryjoy Tours, 13W. They are fantastic.

I was a big Truelinkswear fan for years. I bought the Originals and although they are wide when you get them on, I find the elastic sock liner thingy way too narrow. I cannot put mine on without a shoe horn and even then it's a struggle. I don't get why they'd make a shoe with a wide toe box, but a narrow opening.

I bought a pair of Ecco Biom 3 Hybrids (with BOA) this year, and almost never wear my Trues anymore. I find the Biom 3 wider than any other model of Ecco I've ever tried on.

I am an 11 1/2 XW in Footjoy contours. The Freestyle in the same size is a very comfortable fit as well. Also, the Ecco Biom Hybrid line has the wider toe box that I need. For price, comfort, and options in color and styles, I think Footjoy is hard to beat IMHO.

I have wide feet (EEE) and I really like my Sketchers Go Golf Drive 2 shoes. Theyre super comfy.

If you are talking wiiiide feet, the only shoes that fit my feet are NB Strikers 4e, and XW Footjoy Contour fit.

I have tried every other shoe made, and these are the only shoes I can put on my feet.

I have wide toes and a narrow mid and heel area. ECCO all the way. Biom hybrid 3 are my favorite. I own about 10 pair of Ecco shoes. Some fit better than others, bit most give your toes a lot of wiggle room.

I had Ecco Biom Hybrid 2 and liked them but sometimes after walking 18 I could feel my toes getting cramped and curling up.

Bought some True Linkswear Originals and they are much more comfortable for my feet.

Im the exact same size. 44 and 10.5 or 11.
