GC kills me. They come on like gangbusters, show about 10 minutes of golf, kinda' like a teaser on a news program that they're gonna' show you in 20 minutes, then it's 10 minutes of BS and commercials. Then 7 minutes of golf, then commercials ad nauseam.

 

Also, this is "LIVE", here's Emma Talley on 12, when in reality she's finishing up on 18. Sigh. Guess we gotta' take any LPGA we can get, they are definitely the red-headed step-children of golf to GC. I know, beating

I'm sure there are some differences, but it can't account for that level of play. Emma Talley graduated from the Symetra Tour last year, and she's currently at -11. Nelly graduated in 2016, and has done well. Annie graduated in 2015, and got her first LPGA win a few weeks back.

For the last couple of seasons I got used to seeing Amy Yang and Sei Young Kim within a few places of each other in the top 10. Like old times to see them back together at the top of the table/ Nice little nostalgia hit.

Mariah Stackhouse has been under the radar but putting in some really good rounds lately. I hope this means she's finding her rhythm on tour.

Yes. She's what, 13 years old? I was barely house-trained at that age. Her post round interview was ages of maturity past her years on this planet. Bravo indeed.

She's been groomed for this vocation since the age of 5 when she was a phenom playing U.S. Kids golf. No one should be surprised by her level of play and maturity. Just wait till Pano, Lucy Li and Rachel Heck are on tour. The level of play (especially ball striking) is going to get much, much better as more of these young, well-coached and athletic players become mainstays.

The greens look very benign, roll pure, and there's little in the way of trouble off the tee. That's a blue light special for the best ballstrikers.

This one is done. Stick a fork in it. Lol. Is there any possibly way someone could make up eight shots when the leader has averaged 64 for three rounds. Impressive. It would have been nice to see Sei Young break the three round scoring record, though.

See Young Kim and Amy Yang now joined by Lydia Ko at the top - a leaderboard from 2 years ago apart from the new names. Interesting that this comes only a week after Nasa and SHP slug it out with SYR. They weren't even permanent tour members 2 years ago. Interesting the ebb and flow of talent on the tour and the variety in the leaderboards this year.
