How tall is Georgia Hall? I haven't been able to find good stats

The LPGA website lists her as 5' 7": http://www.lpga.com/.../98334/overview

I'd say that's a bit generous, and she's probably 5' 5" to 5' 6". Charley is 5' 6".

I didn't get to see the conclusion but did enjoy many hours of coverage. Glad to see So Yeon bounce back after that dreadful triple early in the round even if it put her too far back to win.

If it were up to me I'd love to see the ladies play back to back links every year, but there certainly are plenty of great non-links courses in the UK too. I don't remember much about Woburn, but pretty pumped to see them play Troon in 2020.

Can someone say "Phil & Henrik" ?

Good stuff.

That's crazy talk! ?

I think I'm gonna make it. My battery might not.

Actually it was. When I stated watching, the leaders were on the fourth hole and I was like, "there's too much golf left I'm never going to make it". But I did. It was too good to walk away. My battery died though. That was a bummer because I enjoyed the live chatting. Porna gave it all she had, but Georgia wasn't going to be denied.

Another rookie, Yu Liu, had a very nice tournament (7T), picking up her second top ten of the season. She's currently 4th in the rookie of the year race.

Not much was said about Ariya over the weekend, but she strung together two nice 3 under rounds to finish T4. I'd say she's getting the hang of links golf.

Watch out for Shanshan. Once again she's having a sneaky good season. While not her best, she still managed her 5th top 10 of the season. She seems to start getting hot late in the year.

Mamiko didn't have a great Sunday, but she did have a solid tournament for a fairly unknown player.

My wife and I have developed a real soft spot for Mo. Maybe because she is so small (like my wife) but has such a big friendly personality. You could tell by the interactions between the players that they all really like her.

No doubt Minjee has a great career ahead of her.

One "youngster" (They're all pretty young) who impressed me was Angel Yin. She hit's it beautifully and is massively long but show's real composure on the course for someone only in there second year on tour. She seems like a real character also, very free spirited and fun loving.

Seems the LPGA has finally given up on trying to stop picture taking and videoing during swings. Having gone to many events since 2011, I've seen it slowly get to the point where it's more of a distraction to stop the crowds from pulling out their cell phones and shooting and just let them do it. In 2011 on Sunday at the KIA in LA, they actually made everyone turn in their phones to be picked up after the tournament. Crowds were huge. I'm sure it was a nightmare for the volunteers and fans redistributing the phones.

I have to admit, I was pulling for Pornanong and was sad to see her fall short. Her ball-striking was great all week and that's usually the measure of a British Open.

I can't help but feel Georgia Hall swiped this one, but Pornanong could've closed it out.

I'd just prefer to see ball-striking take the event over someone making a greater-than-average percentage of mid-length putts. There's a certain degree of luck in that, I think.

No one in the final game, shooting -5 and ending on -17 'swiped' anything from anyone :)

You don't have the best score of the day and you don't smoke the field (all but Porna and maybe Ryu) without holing some putts. You can't hold the against her. :-). Anyway isn't that what you want to see, somebody taking it? Georgia Hall wasn't making any mistakes out there. Those birdie putts were daggers.

I was told several times at the KPMG to stop taking photos, even though I was taking them before the swing. It seems the enforcement is very sporadic, and there are a few real Barney Fifes in the security team. At the Meijer Classic, one security guard told me I couldn't take pics around the practice green. Oy veh.
