Whoa. Alison at -5 with six holes to play. Could she really be on her way to making two cuts in a row?

I would say you jinxed her but this is basically how it plays out every week this year. This is almost Yani Tseng level of drop-off, well minus all the winning before the drop-off lol. It's actually too bad I like Allison but this is almost career ending results or form. Unless she can catch fire in the LPGA tour card series (3 events), she's gonna be banging it out on the Symetra tour besides the sponsor exemptions she gets. Though that might not be a bad thing cause her drop off in form is rather shocking.

Ouch. Two over on her last 6 holes to miss the cut by one.

Cheyenne is also in danger of losing her card.

Will we be saying the same thing about In Gee Chun next year?

Golfers usually have "ebbs and flows" from year to year during their LPGA.PGA career. Ingee is definitely having an Ebb this season in terms of results but she's not missing lots of cuts rather just finishing mid-pack. I don't see card losing form with Ingee just not firing on all cylinders. With Ingee IMO it will come down to motivation, some players continue the slide but the good ones usually use a poor season as a slap to the face bounce back. I will say something seems a little off with Ingee, it's just gonna depend on where her head is, cause she has the talent

Have you looked at her 2017 scores, http://www.lpga.com/players/alison-lee/98223/results?filters=2017&archive=, a T-17 being the best. I`m not sure her "drop off" is shocking in the least. In 13 events so far this year she made 3 cuts, with a +1 tie for 62nd place being the best.

I do enjoy her IG though, maybe she does too...a little too much? https://www.instagram.com/thealisonlee/?hl=en

Oh, puleeze. I believe there's more than a small difference between losing one's card, and being the 6th in scoring average.

I thought Sung Hyun was going to run away with this, but the big miss on the 16th certainly opened the door. Can Lizette seal the deal?

I said it before, and I'll say it again. If they're going to finish the tournament inside the track, the "16th" should be the closing hole, with the difficult par 3 "15th" as the next to last hole. With shuttle carts, there's no reason they couldn't play "17", "18", "15", and "16. The course's normal finishing hole is currently playing the toughest for the week. Hmmm. Go figure. I guess Pete Dye knows nothing about designing a course.

C'mon, Karen. The reason the course is playing easy is because they're playing preferred lies, not because it's a wide open modern course. Brickyard crossing is rated at 72.0/138 from the blue tees, which is only a handful of yards longer than the tournament tees. The Pete Dye design is no pushover. No playing out of divots. No mud balls. Balls sitting up high.

Also, if you're going to say anything about putts per green in regulation, you must always state the following full disclosure: "Of course, the LPGA doesn't track shots gained putting, or proximity to the hole, so any statement about putting must be taken with a giant grain of salt. It could that the player is simply not getting the ball close enough to the hole to have a legitimate chance for a one putt".

'Still shocked that Jin Young and Dean split. If that was Lydia, it would be front page news.

Mina has been on a good run lately. She's quietly climbed into a share of 5th.

So Lexi was “caught” in another rules infraction. They are playing LCP in your own fairway. She hit a drive in an adjacent fairway, picked up the ball, cleaned and replaced it. Lucky for her there was an LPGA official nearby and pointed out the infraction. It only cost her a stroke and still made par on the hole.

Her caddie needs to be more diligent with the local rules. This is the second time this year she got penalized for some procedural violation.

That has got to be a real conversation between the two. Clearly, it's the player's ultimate responsibility, but you would think a caddie at that level would be on top of that. In years gone by, I was penalized for lifting, cleaning, placing and then doing it again as play was slow and I didn't know the rule...

Terrible lack of awareness/knowledge of the rules from Lexi and her caddy, kind of getting a little embarrassing.

Lexi needs to be more diligent with local rules! I can’t believe she and her caddie have twice been caught sleeping on a local rules issue. After the ANA fiasco you’d think they would be super careful to check out the rules sheet each week. And as Tom Abbot showed us, it was highlighted on the sheet this week.

Funny thing about Lexi's rule violation...friends and I play "winter rules" sometimes (LA Munis!) and EVEN WE know that it only applies when you hit your fairway...everything thing else is play it as it lies.

Common sense and logical, IMHO.

I wouldn't want to play Lexi for $$$, or if I did I watch her like a hawk.

Tom Abbott is now calling the #4 player in the world "S.H. Park". That guy is such a butt-plug. He had me fooled for a while, his accent made me think he was smarter and more knowledgeable than he evidently is. I suspect he has now realized that he's been saying the name wrong this whole time, but rather than capitulate to the correct pronunciation, he dug in his heels and came up with a creative workaround. It takes a real man to admit when one is wrong I guess.

Lizette Salas seems really cool and is a consistent golfer. Would she be a better player if she worked on her fitness?

probably, I thought the same about Shanshan. being so over weight cant help.

Lizette's been training pretty hard from what I can see on Instagram. It's golf related training, so it may not result in a quick, noticable body change produced by other training. But she's putting in the time to get better on the course.

I can`t help but to notice she still marks her ball from the side, the same she did during the ANA debacle. I would have learned the first time...oh well.
