How is the grip on the ignite spikeless? Thinking about picking up a pair as my local course is getting fussy about any kind of spikes now.

They are fine, I think the new NXT has a little better grip. (I have both).

They run a half size large. Both of them.

Both are extremely comfortable, I do not care for spikeless shoes and I like the new ones.

 

A course getting fussy about spiked shoes is about stupid, but not really surprising nowadays, but then again I think we should be able to wear metal spikes still.

Thought I saw a strap on them at one point. Either way, I'll be snagging a new pair of Ignites when they drop, provided the price isn't too high.

Watching the replay now and they were low tops for sure. I think RF has retired the hi-top look.

Just jumping in to say the 2019 SoleLace shoes look fantastic. I will 100% be buying a pair of these.

Just jumping in to say the 2019 SoleLace shoes look fantastic. I will 100% be buying a pair of these.

Anyone seen these in person? Wondering how much the olive toe box sticks out? I’ve been wanting a pair of black with black/dark soles for a while.

I tried really hard to like the Quite Shade Ignite shoes. They look sweet. But the insole was too thin and didn't feel like it was going to have enough outside support during my follow-thru. I think the new Nike Air Max 1 is the most comfortable shoe I've ever tried on. The Pumas look the best though.

Interesting. An email I sent to Cobra/Puma said there's a new shoe called the Ignite Pro Adapt coming out later this spring. And I found links to a non-visible product page when I did a cursory google.

I would be very very excited to see an ignite NXT with spikes. The spikeless are the most comfortable shoes I think ive ever put on right out of the box. I think theyre going to be perfect to wear as shop shoes all season while I work and sneak off after work to play a few in. Just love to see them with spikes for more adverse weather conditions. I found the ignite poweradapt to fit much differently from these and I prefer the way the nxt fit.

I ordered a pair of these and they were awesome right out of the box. The black/black color scheme looks great, I've long been a Nike guy but I'm not too big a fan of the 2019 so I'm exploring other options. Pumas SoleLace NXT's look awesome and were really comfortable my first round walking 18. Felt like I was wearing running shoes or something, for once my feet didn't hurt after walking 18. If I had to complain about anything it would be the two pull loops on the heel & tongue that when you wear a taper leg pant the loops keep messing up my pant leg and making them look funny so I think they'll look better with shorts.
