New Mizuno irons coming - Tour Proto Pics

Oh well, I'll prob fawn over them when they come out, but I just ordered a custom set so I'm all set for a while. Will prob sell my MP18s once the new ones get here.

The MP 18 with the weird grind were custom for Vijay. These I believe are prototype of the new blades. Also should be coming in lefty for all you complainers ;)

Ah - thanks. In that case, I'm on board. As someone currently in the MMCs am curious to see what they do there. Would love to see less of that dark gray patching to highlight the tech.

I knew it was a good sign when the mizuno Instagram account was high lighting the tn87 :smiley:

Voshel and co somehow managed to produce irons even sexier than the mp18s!

looks like a lot of offset.. I am not a fan of this..

I wonder if they'll release them with the copper underlay? The last blade in japan (Mizuno Pro 118) had a copper underlay.

TN87s have the reverse offset, right?

I think that gray patch is just the reflection of the Tn-87 in the top pic, but not sure what it is in the second - I hope just a reflection....

Otherwise they’ll look like the friggin Vapor Pros!?

I think you're right - I was referring to the grey out on the toe on the back and sole of the MP-18 MMC and Fli-Hi. Thought they would have looked better had they just let that stay chrome, since it's not the actual weight that makes the color but just them coloring to highlight that it's there.

The comment attached to the photos posted by Mizuno on social media was “layers of feel” and #LayersofFeel

Just hit the Optimizer. Gave my top 3 as KBS Tour X soft-stepped, Project X LZ 6.5 and Dynamic Gold S300. Standard Mizuno length and lie. I'm ready for these to be released.
