Just saw that pic and based on the number font and the milling on the back I think it’s a new Ping Forged Wedge. Could be wrong but it sure looks similar to the Glide Forged.

Usually the classifieds have been good to me Or WTB. I have an extra 47* wedge laying around for when my PW is worn. I believe someone the other day listed a set.

As far as I’ve heard the new wedges will be a part of the T line. The new S line should be next year. Mizuno is syncing up the MP irons with the T series wedges and the JPX irons with the S series wedges. So every year going forward a new line will release (MP + T or JPX + S)

This may be a hybrid version of both, maybe a start to an entirely new model, only reason I say that is because of the look of the top line, it looks like they’re keeping the variable cog like in the S18 but they do look a little more compact, very hard to tell though.

I’m really interested in seeing what it becomes, the S18’s look great, haven’t used Mizuno wedges before.

 

Thankfully my wedge fitting isn’t until the 25th so I’ll be able to see what comes out this week!

Never have I been more disgusted if that is the new Mizuno wedge .... the s18 are really nice but this new one is of no interest to me , it looks cheap .... t7 were great as were the t5 but these look horrible
