Had some pro shop credit to burn, so brought this beauty home. Im in love.

The only knock I have after playing with this bag for one round was the Rangefinder pocket opening is a little tight to fit my hand in. 😩otherwise super comfortable to carry!!

It’s more of a flat leather.  Left is Linksmaster, right is legend.

Confirmed they aren’t interchangeable.  The legend is slightly larger, but we also couldn’t seat the zipper from the old Linksmaster ball pocket to the new Linkslegend.

Overall, I would say that the Linkslegend is a good upgrade over the Linksmaster. One thing I noticed riding in a cart is that the valuables pocket is blocked by the cart strap because it goes up so high in the new bag. I get that this bag was designed more for walking. However, for a premium bag I’m a little surprised that there isn’t a cart strap pass through. Still love the bag and appreciate the grab handle, 4-way divider, usable water bottle pocket, and magnetic range pocket.

I can't get myself to put a permanent market on these bags in that slot, too risky if it explodes. I always put them in a sealed bag inside the bag.

For those of you wondering if this bag is waterproof, I can tell you that it is not.  I played at Cabot Links yesterday.  It rained steadily for around 9 holes.  All the pockets were damp inside, but not completely soaked.  The rain hood did work nicely.

The hood better for how big it is.

Anyone have experience with warranty claims for the Linksmaster? The buttons that attach to the rain cover have gotten warped/broken on mine. Dropped mine off at Dick's to start the claim, but was wondering if anyone had experience with the process.

They come with both single and double strap setups that are interchangeable.

well they sent me an email back saying they are the same plate,  they don't look the same so we shall see if that is the case.  ordered one, let people know in a few weeks.  shocked no one here has both and couldn't confirm.

They may be the same plate but the old ones screw in and the new ones are velcro.  Good luck hopefully it works.

exact thing i thought.  In the part where you put your club name down, i wrote in that it was for a links legend member.  Hopefully that catches someones eye and they were like we should send him this one instead.

Finally got around to some pictures after my paint fill removal project. Loving this bag.

I just got my bag today and its a piece of beauty. I am a single strap person but am finding that the shortest setting is still too much for me. Does anyone who has this bag also find the same and any suggestions on how to further reduce the length / make it more tight? I am coming from SL1 and my preference is to have a smaller loop to put my shoulder through it. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Agree with this, probably my only complaint thus far is that on its tightest setting, it still carries much lower than other bags.

Members bag came yesterday a month ahead of schedule.

It’s on left next to Vessel made for TM. Both are stunners. I’ll game one of them next spring.

Slight nod to LinkLegend in function. More club space and pockets.

Looks it’s a toss up. Very similar bags. Probably game the LL first next season
