Titleist Linksmaster Members Bag- In Hand Pics

Just got the new Members bag in and LOVE it! The 2 biggest things I love about the new one are the straps and magnetic pouch. The strap system is a lot more comfortable on the new bag imo. And now I can put my rangefinder in the magnetic pouch for easy access as I used to use the bottle pouch (middle zipper pouch is annoying to always zip and close). I carry a 36 oz water bottle when I play so it's too big for the bottle pouch but the new one is definitely a lot better also. The slightly curved openings for size storage also make it easier to use the entire pocket. I did like the old logo of the guy with the flag more though lol.

 

Overall great updates to the bag and I'm really glad I decided to upgrade.

I just picked mine up from my club. I do not see the single strap in any of the pockets. Didn't the old linksmasters come with both a double and single strap setup?

So coming off the original Linksmaster, this bag improved upon all the little annoying things.  The magnetic pocket is now easy to access versus the tight opening of the original.  The external water pocket is a huge improvement.  The top cuff handle makes putting it in your car that much easier.  I feel like the zippers are easier to open and close.  There's a new small scorecard pocket on the side of the bag.  The 3 way top worked well for me, but having the 4 way top allows you to organize your clubs a little easier.  All in all a great improvement to an already great product!

Oddly enough I got my bag and I feel like I have a frankenstein version. The top part is 3 way and doesn’t have the handle but the rest of the bag is the new 2023 version. maybe I’m missing something.

Nevermind, I guess the top is the only difference between the Classic and the regular members version.

The new Links Legend are in stock at my local golf shop. The price apparently went up, way up. I don't see much of a difference to justify making a change.  The water bottle pocket is substantially larger, but I just place my bottle in the ball pocket, with the top poking out anyways. As confirmed, the personalization plate is now velcroed on; I actually thought it might be a magnet, at first.

$499, and they literally just got them in, so perhaps they just priced them incorrectly. I was primarily looking at one just for my father, as I already have an Ash Linksmaster members. But, I was there yesterday, and they didn't have them, so they must've arrived late yesterday or early this morning.

The two guys I know at my club who got the new ones paid $395. 

 

Pretty sure the "old" ones were $325.

I believe the old ones were in the $370 - $380 range, retail.  I lost the hang tag for mine, but it showed the MSRP. Yeah, that $500 price for the new one seems way off.

Per the info tags on the bag the old one is $390 and the new is $410.

Can anyone confirm if the zip-off ball pocket panels are interchangeable from the new to old bags?  they looked the same size to me, but I did not have my bag with me to compare them.

The new one looks a touch bigger to me but cant say for sure.

Yeah they have to be different. Just took a ruler to each of them and the new one is about 1" bigger in both directions.

haha, I’ll try to get some on here. I’ve got players clubs, head covers are worn from the sun. I feel like I need new clubs to put in it, at least new headcovers, my 3 wood cover is falling apart at this point. 
 

Does anyone know specifically what the bottom pocket on the outside of the large apparel pocket is for? Score card, rangefinder?

I had a vessel bag in the past for a bit and I remember an issue with cart straps rubbing the material. Anyone ran into that issue on these bags? I believe Vessel sells a cart strap sleeve to prevent it.

Never had that issue on my Slate Linksmaster, let alone on any bag I've owned. I strap it pretty tight but have never seen strap wear onto the bag.

I imagine it would happen on any white bag. Cart straps are dirty/dusty and that is definitely going to show up more on a white bag vs something like black or grey.

on the Vessels it was actually damaging the bag material, there are several threads here on it.

Can confirm, but not an issue if you use the protector sleeve. 
 

Or if you receive a new black Links Legend. Loving it already, ditto to other’s comments. Do need to tighten up the legs a hair with the tensioner. Awesome product. And yes $410 embroidered with my club’s logo.

You can go the secondary market route (BST, ebay, etc.), but you'll ususally pay more than retail.

 

Occasionally retailers (Carl's Golfland is one that I know of) will get them in stock, but they are only sold in stores. They don't make them available for purchase online.

the new bag look just stunning.

our Proshop doesn't stock them but can order I'm told, so let me ask how well the clothing pocket holds pullovers and/or a rain jacket.

Midwest morning golf usually requires some extra apparel during spring and fall.
