Yea, I don’t think it will be an issue on these. The bag isn’t straight white either, it’s like a off white luxury color.

I am loving the slimmer profile coming from a Vessel Player III. Will hold the rain hood + outerwear needs just fine. Best bag I’ve ever seen and used.

I’m considering continuing to use the Vessel cart strap sleeve with the LinksLegend just because I don’t want to chance messing it up. 
 

It’s not so much the color getting dirty with the Vessel, the material is just so soft the cart straps really tear it up as it jostles around back there. The LinksLegend does appear much more durable and less pleather-y.

Yea I agree, I was going to throw one my extra microfiber towels when I ride in a cart to put in between the strap and bag. Might even pick up a vessel sleeve.  I walk a majority of the time anyway.

There are a few options for cart strap sleeves out there.  You may also want to look at the Kell-Pro options or go to Amazon and search for seat belt pads.

cool I’ll check them out. Not a bad idea to use one on a bag nice like these. Check out my ping 4 series, bought it around 2015 maybe? I don’t even ride much and it’s damaged from cart strap.

I had been waiting forever to get a new bag, been holding onto that ping forever. Pings designs and colors have sucked for years now so never switched out. Had a vessel briefly, like couple days,  but the top was so small that I didn’t keep it and really wasn’t all that impressed with the bag. 

 

I had known about a new linksmaster design coming out this year since like last feb. This links legend is a couple notches better quality than the ping carry bags for sure.

I use a PING also (2020 Hoofer Lite).  Great bags.

looking at the brochure pics -

what is the actual difference between the standard Member and the Classic - besides the 3 way/4 way top?

 

both appear to have a decent sized full length pocket down the right side.

 

I've asked our proshop to get info from their rep.

the only bags they have in stock are StaDry and Players 4.

New members has a 4 way top and grab handle, the classic has 3 way and no grab handle.

I know someone mentioned the 4way has less tangle. For folks who had the prior model or have seen both, which would you recommend? I have only seen the prior 3way model in person. Thanks so much.

The overall layout looks to be exactly the same as other Titleist bags. I had a P4 for a brief time and it came with an insert in that pocket that said "Rangefinder".

 

It's a good pocket for that, but then it pushes into the apparel pocket making it smaller/cramped. If the pocket is magnetic like the P4 it might be good for storing ball markers/divot tools? I kept my rangefinder in the small pocket above the ball pocket like most people so I couldn't really find a use for this one.

Ah must be, I saw a close up picture on tgw site showing the 22 players 4 bag and they show a wallet sticking out of the pocket, lol.

I use a Kell-Pro when I ride a cart. Worth the extra peace of mind, on my lighter Ash bag. One of my usual golfing partners has a black Linksmaster Members and, FWIW, his bag still looks great with no abrasions after nearly a full season of use.  He golfs more than me, and rides a cart literally every time. https://kelly-line.com/shop/

Is this more of a flat leather vs the previous version (which looks like it has more grain) or the same? Hard to tell from the pictures.

I think if I could do it over I'd get the standard.  I miss having a handle near the top to grab my bag.  Also with the 3 way top I do notice a bit of club tangle.

Have enjoyed following this thread, so wanted to post pictures of the new Links Legend bag that I picked up at our club this weekend.  They previously carried the Linksmaster bags, but I am really happy I waited as the improvements (4 way top, magnetic range find holder) are improvements in my mind.  They had a the gray and the green as well, but couldn't pass up the white.
