Yeah I think its good to try to move past tiger but that's an almost impossible hole to fill. They tried to do it with Rory but that just didn't have the same vibe.  I agree with you that they are trying to be different and appeal to the modern day golfer. The only problem with that is the modern day golfer isn't buying Nike as much. They're gonna have an even tougher road ahead with brands like Peter Millar taking a huge chunk of the market space. I get sometimes you've got to take a different approach but they continue to alienate longtime customer without gaining many new ones. Our traditional wall in our pro shop that was all Nike is full of other brands and the GFore shoes are selling out while the Nike's sit there.  I love Nike but its getting harder and harder to defend them.

i'll be interested in any new stretch woven belts and multi weave stretch belts. i have the light bone/obsidian, black/gridiron/pure plat, obsidian/celestial gold/neptune green (masters theme, and obsidian/blue fury/university red (us open theme) and then right after christmas i saw a new color surface and it looked to be the same theme from the pga champ so i had to jump on that. this belt seem to come out of nowhere, as far as i knew i had only seen of those other 4 i mentioned. link dropped below for those who haven't seen it

Got the anorak today and it is quite big fitting I’d probably recommend on going size downer if you are on the verge of one or the other go with the lower

The Obs/Grey/Lemon has been out for a bit. It dropped at the same time as the other 2 major packs you mentioned (Is that the belt you're referencing?). I pulled the trigger on the Obs/Grey/Lemon and the Obs/Blue/Red. All three were sold online (I forget the exact website... It's buried somewhere on this thread), but they didnt have a 4th option. With all the Fearless Pack dropping late in the year, youre right, I wonder if there was a belt for that pack...

That's right, the obs/grey/lemon. i don't remember seeing that over the summer. regardless im happy its out. i got corresponding shirts/pants/hats for all the belts with exception of that one. i need a deep royal blue and lemon color of something...i have at least one or more of those in indigo fog, pure plat, and obsidian. there's always this shirt but frankly im not a fan of it

Soo..... nobody is gonna say anything about those god awful vapor polos with the worms on them?? I really hope those aren’t the main shirt releases of 2021... I like the striped ones, but they remind me of the 2015 or so versions. Who put worms on the shirts and said “ yea, that’s nice”

Between the baggy-looking fit, the wrinkled fabric, and the really wide hem at the bottom, this looks exactly like every windbreaker I had in junior high in the 80s.

If anyone was wondering, it was because they were Tour Classic III vs II, the III has a black swoosh and the II has a white (but on tour the II has a black swoosh for viz on TV).

 

I was surprised that I found Tour Classic III gloves for $6 at the clearance store already!

As someone born in the 90’s, I think it’s great news. 80’s and 90’s fashion was great overall. Now in the golf world during that time it was horrendous no doubt about it. But golf is starting to adapt to more street style which currently the 80’s and 90’s fashion is what’s in. I think that is great news.

I was born in the 70’s, would prefer not to see the fashion from 80’s-90’s come back. Baggy crap, pleats, 100% cotton, yuck....
