Look for the MC's near the bottom of the leaderboards 👍

Sadly true over the last year or so.

Loved her game and grit at the ANWA in 2019 against Kupcho - clearly the better player but Maria put up a hell of a fight - and really been pulling for her since. But her performance and stats across the board are just dismal. 😕

She REALLY needs to get with a coach that can dial in her talent.

Yes, I was very surprised watching the ANWA rerun and both of them talking about future battles, so decided to look up how they were doing on the LPGA.  Surprised on two fronts -- 1) how well Kuptcho is doing Money and Ranking -- highest ranked without a win. 2) how not so well Fassi is doing...essentially couldn't find her.

María I think has 3 things going against her.

1.) The media has wanted to paint both her and Gaby Lopez as the next Lorena and make parallels between Lorena’s personality and theirs. Maria just needs to be herself. No one is going to be Lorena squared.

2.) The ANWA hype as well as the AT&T and Rolex endorsements I think have her believing she is better than she is at this point and some of these things are almost 2 years old.  A lot was said about her AT&T endorsement and how she and Jordan Spieth were the only golfers they sponsored.

3.) The fans she attracted because of this are always telling her on social media that she is the best. Bring her up in any golf thread and people immediately talk about her distance. For a lot of people hype=skill. Even when she won her first pro event at a WAPT event people were reacting like she’d won a major, even lpga.com wrote a story and made it front page news for winning an event less than Symetra tour event and probably equal to a Cactus Tour event.

Her best result was a top 20 at the USWO but even Hillary Lunke won the USWO. I hate to say this but the best thing that could happen to her if she continues to miss cuts is for her to lose her card and be a golfer.

Just a little sidenote to your post.

I've always found it interesting how much publicity the Cactus Tour gets compared to the WAPT. The WAPT plays for twice as much prize money as the Cactus Tour, their field size is typically double the Cactus Tour, and winners of each tournament get an exemption into Symetra Tour events. Heck, the WAPT event this week has over 100 players in the field.

I have some friends playing in Texas now ... but I have never got around to asking them what the acronym means -- WAPT?     @North Texas ... isn't everything bigger in Texas?

Slow down Maria!  It's all mental!  Dial back and hit the fairways.  Fairways and Greens does the trick.  The brain controls everything , so, try a new approach, try a 3 wood at times, might just do the trick.  You have the length and a 3 wood will keep you in the fairway not the rough.  try it, I know it will work.
