Just picked up my first ever Vessel bag (co-branded w/ TM), and got my Driving Iron extended, so I’m ready to do my 2022 End of season WITB!

 

Why do a WITB at the end of the season? Well of course for all my fellow WRX junkies! But for me it’s also as a Time Capsule to lock in the finished product of 2-3yrs of extreme turnover and trial & error. I never intended to turnover all the clubs that I have, and my end goal was always to have a setup that was as close to the perfect setup for me as possible.

 

After Driver, Iron/Wedge, and Putter fittings last season, and a lot of my own testing/flipping, I finally have a setup that I feel fits me and my game really well, and I’m hoping to keep as much of this current bag intact over the Winter as possible going into next season.

Alright all, my bag is ready for the season.  I’m going to list clubs, who built them, all specs I can remember

 

Driver Custom MyStealth 2 Plus with the the white top and black face to make it look like an M1 10.5 loft one setting lower.  Breakthrough Golf Technologies x flex tipped 1” fitted and built at BGT headquarters 45”

 

Fairway woods: 5 is a Sim Max Tour issue head 18 deg Fujikura Atmos 7X Red 

7 wood is a Sim2 Max 21 deg Fujikura Atmos Red 8s.  Built by Usher golf.   If you’ve ever hit these you know why!  Set up with my favorite fairway shaft of all time.

 

4 iron Miura PI-401 Steelfiber 95s built by Usher Golf.  Off the tee or the turf this head performs!

 

5 and 6 Miura CB301 Steelfiber 95s, part of a set I grabbed in the BST of GolfWRX.  I have the rest of the set ready in the backup bag to keep the rest of my irons honest

 

7-pw Miura TC201 Steelfibers 95 and 110.  I love the TC201s. Have two full sets.  Currently I’m using the 7 with 95s and the 8,9,pw recently shafted with 110.  The heavier shaft is hitting it straighter and working well.  The 7 I’m sticking with the 95 to bridge the distance gap with the 6.  Lofts have been adjusted slightly between 6,7,8 to correctly gap

 

Wedges: 50 Miura HB, 54 and 58 Miura K grind 2.0 each with onyx S400- I never thought I’d game a heavy wedge shaft but these are so good.  Built by Usher Golf.  I want to go BGT in these, probably will soon.  
 

Putter: this was an experiment.  Traded in a club or two on Global Golf and picked up a like new Taylormade SpiderGT my first mallet in years.  ITS GREAT.  Yes it sits closed, but that’s cool I aim way too far right, the oem grip is horrible.  I  put a SuperStroke 2.0 again I haven’t tried in 10 years.  Love everything about it.  Rich Harvest Farms headcover
