His temper tantrum aside, it was impressive

 

If he has the mental game to match his physical, and those of you that have followed him would know better than I, however if he has the mental game, focus and discipline, he could dominate.

 

I know, I know, what about my rant above???

 

First, I was speaking of what he’s done up to this point in his career, which while he’s had a very nice first four years on Tour, he’s hardly thrown down the gauntlet as THE World’s Top Player.

 

Secondly, since prior to today, he hadn’t won in a year and a half+, he hardly had established himself as a Sunday Back Niner, however what he went out and did today, throwin down a 65 and Playin the course and not the field, is very very very tough to do, especially when you’re moving up through the pack, and he buried it!!

 

I don’t even know what happened yesterday with the press so I don’t know who was at fault, nor do I care, however I believe that a younger, more immature Brandon DeChambeau, circa 2018, would have let the noise and hoopla from yesterday into his mind and it would have affected his Play & final round today.

 

It’s safe to say that Brandon DeChambeau, circa 2020, did not let that happen.

 

He was impressive and most of the Tour boys are easily intimidated, save for Tiger and 4-5 others, so hopefully he can put together a few more Sundays like today and then leave his mark in a Major!

When ole Brandy’s a Sunday Back-Niner, and racks up some Victories on a regular basis, as the #1 Players in the World USED to have to do, then you can chirp all ya want about him changing the game.

 

The only thing that he’s changed in the last two months is his shirt size, and since he doesn’t even pay for those, I ain’t countin that!!

 

Today, Sat 07/04/20, he’s averaging 345yds off the tee with two 360yd+ drives and he’s -1 through 6 holes and 2 strokes outa the lead at -12.

 

He just followed up a 335yd drive on a Par 5 with a 201 chunk into the front right greenside trap???

 

What’s 201yds for him, a 7i or 8i???????

 

He flat out chunks a MID/HIGH IRON!!!

 

His Playin partner, Mark Hubbard, who he’s out drivin by 44yds+/drive is one ahead of him at -13, lol

 

Who the h*ll is Mark Hubbard?????

 

Yah, Brandy’s a #1?????
