Miracle Swing Experience( former My Swing Evolution) is a Charlatan!

Recommended Posts

Back to the MSE guy. Is he a pro? Does he compete or just spew out garbage to make a living? The only thing that's even similar to Hogan is the way is the hat. People follow that be better golf guy too and he makes a living selling junk to desperate golfers. Off to watch their match to get a chuckle.

I'm going to make 'The Nicklaus Code' because I read Golf My Way about 50 times. As far as Christo's swing is concerned, he lacks the flexibility on his left side and his swing fizzles out and collapses when Hogan was accelerating like mad into the follow through while pressuring the shaft forward. Anyone can get Ben Hogan's backswing 'looking' correct, but it's impact and beyond that matters most.

Agreed that he keeps the pivot train moving longer than most, but no one is pressuring the shaft forward through impact and into the follow through. The forces and torques at the handle are always changing and the force against the handle has reversed long before impact.....even for Hogan.

Interesting you say it about Vijay because I always thought he was a pure swinger with that release.

Very much a left sided move and gets the big flailing follow through similar to Hogan and few others.

I always think of the release as telling a story regarding pivot. What, in your opinion, is the reason for the extreme right hand almost off the club position through impact? He looks like a classic slap-hinge releaser to me.

Very little grip pressure in right hand.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I just spent some time looking at images of his release and it's not slap hinge because he has a pretty flat left wrist right through the hitting zone, but his right hand is doing that crazy contortion. Thanks for your insight.

So now he is saying the Gary Player interview will be another video. After using it to sell Hogan Code 2 but having nothing of any substance at all on Gary Player other than he thought Hogan had his upper left arm close to his chest on the backswing.

More fool me for giving him a chance and buying it. Basically an infomercial sucking you in to maybe want the full interview. Even though the advertising led you to believe that was what you are getting for the $48 supposedly bargain price (discounted for a limited time from $60).

5 secrets and 8 fundamentals. From a very unstable looking swing that looks like it would be above 80 more often than not.

The level of cringe is off the scale.

Golf’s governing body should step in an preserve the legacy of players once they are no longer around to defend themselves.

Do you think Hogan would consent to this? If not then making money off him is morally wrong.

Can anyone just pick up the reputation of any dead person and run with it for profit now?

I guess he is good at marketing. Lol.

Which is the sad part because he’ll lure in a lot of people that don’t know any better. A guy that can barely break 80 on a good day stepping into the shoes of the greatest ballstriker ever for financial gain. If Hogan were alive, as well as probably giving him a short right, he might say “how many majors have you won fella?”

If you’re going to sell golf instruction to the public, you’d better either:

A. Be a damn good golfer

 B. Or more importantly, have a track record of coaching  people to genuinely play better golf.

That’s not even going into MSE ‘cracking the code while still managing to flip through impact.

Verdict- a grifter preying on golfers with more money than sense (which to be fair, is a very large market to target )

Christo shot 81 in a practice round at Oakland Hills and the video he put up of one of the birdies was a lucky chip in. Not a 1 iron drilled at the flag like I would put up if I had the Hogan swing down. He may need to revisit the Hogan Code. The ebook or the two videos should sort him out. Hogan would be so proud.

not to resurrect/beat a dead horse but. recently stumbled across this christo guy and now that I know more about the swing I decided to pause some of his videos and. it's just ABSURD like. not only is there the element of how does he sleep at night but does he ACTUALLY think that his swing is functionally at ALL like hogan's? the OP when he pointed out the differences in images that looked small but are very very big (correct) was right but can't believe it took 7 threads to just show impact. it's plain as day not a functional impact position for what he is claiming to try to accomplish.

you don't have to be able to score to be qualified to teach. but if you think these two swings are comparable at all through impact you are not qualified to teach.

would really really be interested to hear from christo how he explains how/why he thinks his swing is functional or comparable to hogan at all given the DRAMATIC differences at impact. he has to be aware of this, given how much study and swing analysis he's done? or maybe he just needs to learn more on his journey and has been lost in the weeds of some aesthetics that break down completely in the hitting area before deciding to market himself as an expert? trying to give the benefit of the doubt ...

as far as BBG. not to derail but. I mean that guy seems pretty honest but shouldn't be lumped in here. as I can see from the few dozen videos I've watched, he's not claiming to be an expert. it's actually a really a pretty cool concept. a passionate, regular golfer, going around to all the instructors on youtube and taking lessons from them and sharing the videos. he does camps he doesn't claim to be the teacher he has milo lines there working with him.

he has his idiosyncrasies, but it's an honest channel and I personally have loved being able to see "inside" the lessons with an actual golfer that most people can relate to getting instructions from all the guys we see around the country, rather than just seeing those instructors working with their model students who are usually top NCAA or mini tour etc. type players who have been golfing since they were 6 years old etc.
