sorry for bumping, but I loved GolfOpinions, really balanced conversation, and found a lot of good deals on there.  I liked that site, but participation diminished badly.

 

BSG was different, I got worn down on the constant bragging about HUGE numbers, distances, etc - then watching posts of Radar, or GPS tracking to prove their figures.  Meh, I got tired of that, and it made me feel like a poor, high handicap loser golfer.

 

But, I did buy some equipment there, including this "supposed to be" Tour head, which I shafted with a Hybrid shaft, for a Stinger 2 iron that I used off the tee on short par4's.  I call it the "Widowmaker", but only use this club occasionally.
