Soooooooooooo Ping STILL has Beryllium Copper and Beryllium Nickel putters...brand new. They don't MAKE them, but they still have NEW but old inventory.... :)

I stand corrected.......I had an original Zing becu and it did not.

I emailed the guy from ping I get all my info from. Super great customer service. Here is his response:

 

Part of what you read on line is true and part is not. We still have some Be Ni and Be Cu putters on our list to order. This means that we may still have heads available or it could mean that they were just never removed from the list.  My bet would be on the former.

The part that is not true is buying directly from us.  We do not sell any clubs directly to consumers. All club sales go through PING dealers.

I never said that you could buy them directly from Ping. You’ve always had to go through a dealer. I went through Morton’s.  The list was sent to Morton’s from someone at Ping. Hope this helps.

 

At any rate, can’t wait to add a B60 in BeNi!

To be fair to the OP their first post says ping has stock, not that he bought them direct. He just took a while to tell everyone where he got them from.

Depends on the model obviously; I believe an Anser 2 is about 315-320g, as an educated guess. Anser 4 will be a bit less as it has a very small hosel.

 

I bought a new J-Blade in beryllium copper 6 or 7 years ago direct from Ping (via a PGA pro here in the UK) and I knew they still had some NOS heads in becu and beni, but at the time I think 95% of the ones they listed were LH (lucky lefties - I'd have cleaned them out on those Ansers in RH...).  They must have found another stash of RHs lying around!
