Sorry but you cant put a Volvik in any conversation about a premium ball, what other pro has played a volvik? Bubba had enough sense to switch back after the $ grab. I guess we will see if Ricky is as smart as Bubba if it is actually the ball.

Its not like he is the only one playing the ball, plenty of other guys seem to be coping just fine, that doesn't mean it doesn't suit his game though, Bubba was the only one playing Volvik so not quite the same

I’m not saying tp5 and x is a bad ball like volvik.  It’s not.  But it acts differently.  And  seems to favor extreme spin guys. Guys with way more speed than Rickie.

Right.  But who else has gone from v1 to tp5x and  had success?    Rory tried to go opposite at Augusta and could not do it.  He can’t control  the v1 spin.  Im saying Rickie isn’t spinning it enough to play how he’s grown up playing.

Re ball change, i didnt realise that was recent.Being a Bubba fan, when his contract came open....he started Winning again....so aha. So too much time with develpment clubs vs maintaining The Bag Gamers and Putting Stroke plus New Coach? Add ball change and thats game over combo right there for a Pro.
