Newport vs Newport 2 Toe Hang…just get SWAG?

2 part question. I promise I tried to look around and find the answer.

 

(1) Scotty Cameron Special Select Line: Do the Newport and the Newport 2 have the same toe hang? Or is one a few degrees more than the other?

 

(2) Should I just get a SWAG Handsome Too instead of a special select?

Note: Question (1) came to be because SWAG Handsome has less toe hang than SWAG Handsome Too per their website.

My understanding was the Newport two and Newport have the same toe hang, but the Newport two has a longer blade length and is more angular.

 

Can’t comment on swag golf.

Toe hang will roughly be the same, maybe a few degrees difference which honestly shouldn't make a difference at all.

Funny, I actually emailed SWAG about this at one point and they did confirm the Handsome ONE has less toe hang which is intriguing to me.

 

I'm a little concerned about SWAG as a company though, does anyone have feedback on purchasing from SWAG? Happy with their service?

I haven’t bought any Swag putters but have bought a lot of their merchandise. I had to contact them for two different, very minor issues and they were super responsive. I am confident that their service if needed will leave you satisfied.

I have a SWAG Suave Too and I love it.

 

No issue with ordering it (shipped much faster than they said, I think it was something like 3-4 week estimate and it shipped within 1 week for me), very cool that they mill specific requests on demand. Also, if you are interested in a sight dot it is one of the few ways to get one without going to a totally custom putter shop (or tour issue prices).

SWAG's cs is great, can't really speak on their putter quality but would really love to try their savage too!

Very close to go on the Handsome Too. Only thoughts:

• Do I want a black shaft vs. the normal clear
• Why is their standard lie 71 vs. the 70 norm?

The lie part it just varies company to company. I've seen standard at 69 up to 72, doesn't matter in the end honestly as long as you pick your spec.

Great to hear all the positive comments about SWAG, going to give them a more serious look.

 

I wondered about the 71 lie angle as well...Bettinardi used to be 71 and changed t 70 in the last couple years.
