Iron recommendations for first full set

I’ve got a 13 year old I’m going to move into his first full set of irons next year for his freshman year on the golf team.  I’m looking for good first sets of irons.  Shafts don’t matter as I do club work and I’m going to fit them for him once I settle on the club heads. Any and all opinions welcome.

Going to need a lot more information than that to even give you a "best guess".   Perhaps going to a local Club Fitter would be wise.

Looking for something that’s high launch and not gonna break the bank since he’s probably not going to be on them all that long anyway.  I’m going to fit him myself. Just looking for ideas that I’ve maybe not considered.

....something with a KBS Tour 90 shaft will launch high.   Older Adams CB2/CB3 are fantastic clubs for a bargain price right now.

19/21 degree hybrid of choice

 

a 4 or 5 wood+ high lofted driver

 

throw in a 52/56 wedge combo and he will be set
