Disappointment on a Friday Afternoon

I got fitted for new irons about 3 weeks ago. At the time of the fitting, I was told 6-8 weeks. I got a text yesterday at 3pm that my new irons had arrived! Hustled down to pick them up for Sundays round and Callaway had put the wrong club head on. Shafts and grips were correct. Oh well, back to waiting. Kind of like the putt that does a 360 and ends up resting on the lip!

Similar to you - I got a message my new wedges were in. Open up the box to see...Titleist had sent me RH wedges when the order clearly said LH...bummer...

I had the opposite today. Had a fitting at club champion early last month. Was told I'd be contacted via email with status updates and shipping dates to the order. For some reason, I decided to have the driver delivered to the CC studio instead of my house. I was told a ship date of August 30th. 

 

Called today to check in and see if it was still in fact being sent today, only to be told it had been at the CC studio since July 14th.  

 

So it sat there THAT long. I asked, and the response was: "We've just been super busy."

Your request was abnormal.  Clubmakers get confused when people people order LH clubs.

Those dirty, no good rotten clubmakers.  How could they get it wrong?

This does not help to calm my recurring nightmare that after a 2 month wait for my irons/wedges I'll finally open the box in a few days and see the wrong clubs or shafts.

Lazrus did that to me the second order I placed. You would think there would be a flag or something.
