Cobalt or Nikon rangefinder?

Am in the market for a new rangefinder after using my Leopold for many trouble free years.  I've been looking at

getting one with slope and have settled on either the Cobalt or Nikon 50i or Pro Stabilized.  After reading about the

issues with Bushnell, I've decided to pass them by.  

So, would love to hear people's comments on the Cobalt as there isn't much on the forums here (I know they're

a new company).  Has anyone here had any experience?

I don't have any Cobalt experience, but I have had the Nikon Pro Stabilized for 4 years now and it's the BEST rangefinder I've owned or even tried by a long ways.  I have naturally shaky hands and can easily hit a pin from 450 yards with the Pro Stabilized; can't recommend it enough!

Since the Cobalt Q6 slope is on sale @ $315 I made the purchase.

Lifetime warranty...for whomever owns it!

Thanks for the replies, guys.  The stabilization is very intriguing and people seem to love that feature.

Yes, I did see that Cobalt is on sale until Monday.  I'm leaning that way.

Yep, I’m in the Nikon camp.  I really like the optics and best of all you can get the previous pro stabilized version from Costco for $260.  Not much difference between the current model pro stabilized 2 (currently $460) and the previous version.

I'd make that deal in a second but unfortunately I'm in Canada and Costco up here doesn't carry Nikon Pro Stabilized.

My Cobalt just came in from the Black Friday Deal. Will not be able to play with it because I live in Illinois but the optics are awesome and the unit is really nice looking in person. 
really looking forward to using it on the course.

Can't comment on Cobalt.  My prior rangefinder was a Bushnell V3,. Currently using Nikon 50i

 

Sometimes the 50i is inconsistent hitting the flag (vs the trees behind the green), but overall I'm very happy with it.

I did order the Cobalt on their black friday deal.  So it's on it's way.

Got mine at the sale price...used it on a telepole, chimney in the area...very fast, bright finder, easy!

Great to hear.  I've read that it's a little heavier than the average rangefinder.  I don't mind that - should make things a little more stable in the hand.
