Are there any hybrids out there with heavier shaft offerings?

Everytime I see something interesting, I check out the shaft offerings and they are 60 or 70g. Might get lucky and find something in the 80g range.

Do majority of GolfWRX's get along with these lighter stock shafts? Obviously the option here is to get your own aftermarket shaft, but it'd be nice to get something off the shelf for a change.

Ping 425 has the choice of a Ping shaft in 85, Tensei Orange in 80 or Rogue black in 95

 

Titleist had no up charge shafts available 80-100g. 
 

I would think most hybrids can be ordered with heavier shafts without much up charge.

Check Sub 70. Even if a shaft isn’t listed they will try and get it for you

Buy a used head and shaft you want.

I just go aftermarket. Much easier to get the shaft I want independent of the head I want

The Rogue Black 95 that Ping offers is a really good shaft.

Me too.  I'm not a big fan of stock shafts to begin with especially for hybrids and look for something heavier in the 90 to 100 gram range.

Titleist offers the Mitsubishi TENSEI AV RAW White hybrid shaft in 90 and 100 gram at no upcharge.

I can’t get a Cobra hybrid out of my bag. Stock shaft is a Nippon 950 steel.

I use a VTS 103g hybrid shaft with TM Graphics on it. I got mine on eBay and haven’t been able to find a better fit for a hybrid shaft for me yet. It’s a pretty inexpensive shaft.

A lot of players prefer a hybrid/DI shaft closer in weight and length to the comparable iron replacement. They might not be a stock option but, Diamana, Fuji, GD, MCA… pretty much all of the major manufacturers offer multiple hybrid/DI profiles in the 90-105 range. 
 

You might be chasing your tail with that train of thought though. Find a head you like, then test shaft options with that specific loft, weight, adjustments, etc. Choosing a head based on shaft options is is more than likely going to leave you disappointed in both. 
 

If you’re considering price as an issue in a higher weight shaft, check BST. There are plenty of listings there that that meet your description and couldn’t beat out a gamer after 12 shots on the range 😆

Buy one used (or unused off ebay if you can find it) and install your own shaft

Also if you like heavy shafts, would highly recommend the Nippon modus hybrid shaft with GOST. Has a really nice heft to it and I found it to have solid feel/ good dispersion

When I got my first hybrid, I immediately bought a couple adapters to put heavier shafts in play.  At the time, I was still using steel, so I put together one with DGS300.  The other I assembled with an NV105 iron shaft.

 

I've always preferred heavier shafts, the 70g and 80g options were just too light for me.

 

I'm toying with 95g shafts, I could see myself going with a 95g shaft for hybrid use, but probably not any lighter in the near future.
