Mizuno wait time?

Could someone share their experience with the current Mizuno wait time for iron orders?

I was told by my rep custom orders where all components are in stock are taking 4 weeks.

I was messing around on their site last week. Tried to build the 223. Said this product is out of stock.  Not sure what that means for eta but it does not sound good.

Odd range.  Usually expectations are set 1-2 or 3-4 weeks.

1-2 months is a big gap.  What is it?  4 weeks or 8 weeks.

...I called Mizuno directly today to inquire about a single t22 wedge I have on order and the Mizuno customer service rep was talking about some system outage they had been experiencing since Feb 4th - 2.5 weeks, and they couldn't ship out orders or process orders or anything?  Sounded ...odd.  I said "system outages last a day or less.  What are you telling me?"  He said "we are telling everyone 6 weeks minimum on everything because we are so backed up because of this outage.  Your single wedge may take 1.5-2 months"

 

Sounded like BS but it was Mizuno I was talking to.

 

I'd like to hear if anyone else has spoken to them.

 

Regarding the Mizuno website suggesting that 223's are "out of stock", I'd take that with a grain of salt.  Mizuno's website is notoriously broken, dead links, missing images links, etc.

They were hacked a few weeks ago. Sadly they are still impacted by the hack and can take orders, but not ship. I’ve had an order of irons in since early Jan, which are built, but they can’t ship due to system issues. I’m shocked they can’t go old school and hand write a shipping label and get things moving…. Then load data into their system after fixing the hack.

 

today was told it would be a week before shipping would resume.

Weird wild stuff.  Ok thanks for that link.  Makes sense.  Dude never said anythign except that they had a long outage. 

 

BUT he did say that they were shipping full force yesterday for the first time.

Spoke with them yesterday as I mentioned and they are back to full shipping for the first time (feb 22, 22).

 

This has been confirmed in the other thread with several people stating that they received tracking numbers with IN-TRANSIT status.

I ordered my 223s before Christmas. FedEx sent me text yesterday saying they're coming on Monday!

I ordered Pro 223's from Fairway Jockey on December 24th and got them in yesterday. My 50* T22 came in also but the 55* and 59* are still not in yet

Its not odd at all. I was told to hope for 4-6 weeks and be prepared for 6-8 weeks.

I ordered a set of 225s and 2 T22s with LZ 6.0 on Jan 24th and have heard nothing.  Looks like things are getting moving again at Mizuno.  Hopefully will get an update soon.

I posted in the other thread my update. Was originally quoted 3-4 weeks before the ransomware attack. Order was placed with Mizuno on 1/18.

 

Clubs haven’t been built yet, but they’re estimating another 1 - 1 1/2 weeks and confirmed all of my parts are in stock.

 

They’re estimating total time of 6 weeks (2 week delay), which seems to be consistent with what others have been told in the other thread. Although mine hasn’t shipped yet and that is still an estimate.

 

I reached out to DD earlier this week and was given that same timeframe before I checked directly with Mizuno today.

I talked to Mizuno yesterday and they said my T22 order from 1/25 (2/23 original delivery date) would likely ship 5-6 weeks from when it was entered in their system on 2/10, so probably another 3-4 weeks from now. I thought their system was down then so I'm not sure how it was entered. This morning I just got an email from Golf Galaxy that my order was delayed and will ship 7-10 days from now. I'm hoping Golf Galaxy is correct but I'm guessing they just put a random date out there and Mizuno is correct.

Just got off the phone with Mizuno rep to see if my order shipped. Unfortunately me and my buddy have another delay. I ordered 225s (4-G) with Modus 115 S shaft standard L/L/L. My buddy ordered 223 (4-PW) Modus 120 S with 2 degrees upright. Both orders placed on Jan.7. 
 

Unfortunately both our orders pushed to at least mid-March for different reasons. The Modus 115 stiff shafts are backordered until March 10 (was backordered til Feb.28) and 223 6-iron heads are out of stock and backordered til March 10 as well.

 

So much for Mizuno and Chris Voshell’s promises they were ready fully stocked for the Mizuno Pro launch date to go off without a hitch . 😫

I understand the world situation and the logistics chaos, but what I cannot deal with is false promises. I’m gonna do some due diligence over the next 48 hours and if it doesn’t look like I’m going to get my order inside of 1.5 months as promised, I’m out….

 

Wishful thinking by manufacturers such as Mizuno is one thing… it’s another thing to not know anything about your logistics pipeline.

It gets worse.  I just got off the phone with Mizuno (glad they are open EST.) and the rep confirmed exactly what you said about Modus 115 and 223 heads.  BUT he clarified that the "get well" date of March 10 is just a marker in their system and it could be as much as 2 weeks after that, they just "don't know" because the parts get shipped from overseas and that's a big unknown.

 

Additionally, that takes care of some early Jan orders but likely not all.  My order was in Feb and he couldn't guarantee that my order would be covered...whenever parts come in, which he isn't sure.

 

Truly a shame that Mizuno dropped the ball in multiple ways on this one.

 

CANCELLING and re-evaluating my entire bag.

That’s not good. I’m going to give it til around mid-March time frame. If there’s more push back, will probably cancel and just get the stick builds for 223 since it comes with shaft I want anyway and I get similar numbers.

I had been debating placing an order for a set of 223's... with the news about the 6 iron heads if I place an order I may go 225 5 and 6 irons and 223 in the 7-GW.

Ordered first of January and showed up today! 221/225 Combo set.
Only downside, no spec sheet inside the box and grips are horrendously off.

FYI; Just browsed around TGW site to take a look at stock build times for 4-PW. 225 stock builds are backordered until March. 23 and 223 are backordered until May 12. Yikes!
