Yep, they look great.  Could be a phenomenal combo with the Dart 105, or not...  If the Hot Metals and Paradym are not the answer, still incredibly happy with my old reliable C300 Forged--gotta try shiny and new though from time to time.

I hit the paradyms really well at my fitting and loved them at address, but I just couldn’t get over that blue back look  in my bag - just not my style.   Went with the Hot Metals instead (but here I am with no irons 6 weeks later in this forum…)

For those complaining about the wait, try ordering a 4 iron or PW from TaylorMade with Project X LZ shafts. Your head will explode when you see how long the wait has been and continues to be.

Is there a problem with Project X LZ shafts? If so, I’m really screwed. That’s what I ordered.

There is at TaylorMade. They haven’t had 4 iron and PW LZ shafts since at least early April and they keep pushing back the dates for each. I’m not sure if the other OEMs are struggling to stock them too.

Just got update on my 4/25 JPX 923 HM 4-PW order.  Now set for 6/14 delivery.  Pretty annoyed - that's 7+ weeks estimate and could get worse...

Yesterday I got a fed ex alert that my irons are coming tomorrow, the order date was 4/14 so that puts it right at 7 weeks.

They’re really good drivers @linley888

but it’s still just an order number. I don’t think supply is the delay, it’s internal production issues at Mizuno. My advice to is buy one off the rack if you can find one and change the shaft yourself. I would be wary of a custom order until it is clear they’ve caught up. All I changed was to a 60g LIN-Q shaft instead of the stock 50g, but custom is custom.

Got word today that my irons are in production and should ship early next week.  Order was placed in to system 4/25.

It says label created on the 31st and arrived at FedEx on the 1st and delivery scheduled for the 3rd. It says it was initially expected on the 5th so I don’t know if it’s two day or just getting here faster.

I ordered two S23 wedges at time which seems like ages ago at this point, but maybe it hasn’t been as long as I think.  Normally, I’d just pick up off the rack at the PGA Tour Superstore and switch out the shafts/grips at home so I don’t have to wait, but I don’t think any of the normal retail channels are carrying that wedge in the 44 and 62 degree versions.  It was hard to find an online retailer with the option to order those lofts, so I’m guessing they might be special order only.  I’m a sucker for anything unusual.

I ordered 2 x Forgeds with a loft bend to match my 923 Tours, will be 6th week this week (April 24th order).

 

Order was placed through Golf Town in Canada, just wondering if anyone else has had their orders from around then delivered yet?

I also ordered a wedge on May 8th, but not expecting that yet, only the 4th week this week. 

 

Honestly, while it sucks, I was waiting a solid 2-3 weeks for Titleist orders later last year, and my irons took about 4 weeks, so it's not that much more of a wait.

Yeah, I guess the only thing I wish was different which I'm sure is not only mizuno but with other brands as well. But I wish they were more transparent with things, like showing what order dates are in production, showing you stock on your custom options you chose (if your options are slowing process), and maybe like an on deck notification or something to tell you your custom order is being worked on and not just seeing a generic preparing shipment for 40+ days.

 

All in all, I don't mind the wait if what I get is up to spec and quality. Just wish the whole process was less in the dark.

Taylormade starting to look like Mizuno.  I have a P790 irons order from 5/22 that is now scheduled to arrive on 6/29 per their online order tracking.  That 6/29 date was originally early June and has kept losing a week or so.  Could get delayed more.  I suspect like me, with their 50% trade-in bonus that just ended, they got slammed with orders.

At least you got an update. I ordered on 4/21 (in the system on 4/22) Still no update. Was told it was supposed to ship on 5/24 still no tracking or word.

My srixon driver is going 4 weeks but I have to reach out to get updates …. What I have been doing is going on the site adding a driver to see estimated ship date … and it’s been inline with what the rep tells me my driver might be built 😢 (date keeps getting pushed back). I too wish it was more transparent with progress

I recently fell in love with the JPX Forged irons. Not sure of shaft yet but, if I order, it appears I'll need to hold on to my old irons in the meantime.

I'm at exactly 6 weeks today so I called golf discount to hopefully get an update and was told they're being built today. I asked for expedited shipping and offered to pay the difference but they said they'd upgrade me free of charge for the extended wait (I have no idea what that means; could be BS). He said to expect them Thursday, which would be amazing because I have back to back outings Friday and Saturday with my best friend from HS who's flying in Thursday night.
