TruBlu Putters

Seeing some nice putters from TruBlu putters based out of Pennsylvania. Anyone have any experience with them? Nice looking milled putters at a decent price point as well as LH options which is personally appealing.

I've noticed I'm getting more and more ads for this company too. Intriguing being a PA company. Shapes seem decent. Maybe a little too chunky for my eye though. At the price though, would be worth a try if you're in the market.

That’s what I keep thinking as well. I don’t know anyone who has played one so I’ve been very curious on the quality and feel. 
 

Let’s be honest, everyone of us on wrx is always “in the market” for a LH other putter 😂😂

They seem to have auctions on Instagram and sales on their website pretty often. Might as well just snag one at the price they're at to try. No idea on resale probably not great unless it's a cool one.

I like one if the models it says 72 degree lie angle which is 2 upright from most companies. Doesn’t look like they will bend it for you. They look good though. Price is great at $250.

10000% agree with all of that! At present it would be a fairly inexpensive milled putter trial.

I inquired about one on Instagram. It looks great and I'm sure the quality is too.  Once adding shipping and a headcover the price was closer to $360USD.  Not a bad price, but not looking to spend that on a putter that may get closer to $200 on resale. 

 

I hope he does well. I like the look of more than a few.

I hadn’t ever looked into the full purchase price with shipping, that’s interesting. Hopefully I’m not delusional for thinking a headcover should be included with a putter purchase.

Also thought it was included generally.  Now I do live in Canada...so even if the HC was included. It would be 320 or so.

I just picked up a TruBlue Divide blank from an auction Don had on Instagram on Wednesday. I paid Thursday morning and it arrived Friday afternoon.  I assembled it yesterday using a Modus 120 X 3 iron shaft I had lying around with a Superstroke GTR Tour grip. The face is not milled, so feel is a firm click without being too harsh. 350g head weight feels excellent playing at 34.5". I'd definitely recommend picking one of these up, especially for the price.

Love these putters. Amazing price and feel great. Been using the keystone putter and having a great year. Just missed my home course record, qualified for US open sectionals, won a match in the Philly Am, and alternate for the US Am. I think he has headcovers now and a new grip that isn't as heavy as the old one.

 

Also saw he did a custom flow neck order. Worth picking one up for less than half of what the other custom guys are charging.

Great looking putters but I can't help but immediately think Tom Brady when I see TB on the cavity.  So that's the only downside, haha.

One issue with these putters is his pricing. Why get a custom when he will sell some completed sets for 250? They are so cheap. I can't imagine paying $400 for a

keystone...then seeing one being sold brand new the next day for $250.

Same could be said about a Circle T and then being miffed at an OTR putter selling for $300. Someone diving into the boutique putter world know what they're getting into for the most part

Honestly don't see the similarity in that analogy.  

 

If I buy a PING PLD for $1200...they don't release a PLD putter for $500 the next day.  That's not how it works.  TP mills isn't selling $650 customs then having a $350 putter sale.

I completely agree! The main reason I bid on the one I got was because it was completely blank. I don't mind the name, but the TB logo is a little much. A more subtle logo like the Goodwood oil can or Kevin Burns fire would be awesome.
